This year the Mexcal fair and quality craft show were happening at the same time. Once past the venders that surround the park during the Guelaguetza, in July, one can see the quality crafts that were almost hidden behind temporary walls.

A great large park for people watching. On Fridays there is a market. Great place to buy fruits, vegetables, desserts, have lunch, people watch. Sundays are a wonderful time to watch the families enjoy each other or get there early and join the 15 pesos Zumba workout.

Excellent public open space, with fountains and cute babies. Lot of trees and benches. Really relaxing place in a busy area.

This lovely park is located in a safe neighborhood and makes an idea spot for an early morning walk or jog. Lots of cool statuary and fountains. The Friday morning markets here are fun, too.

Look out for the lions! This park used to have a zoo (some 30+ years ago) and locals say that the eight lions (two on each corner) are from that era. What a pleasant place for a stroll or a photo safari. The park has notable historic trees planted by Independence hero Morelos. The paths are smooth and beautifully constructed which makes it a popular place for runners and for wheelchairs.
