“Excellent , Rivals an experience at a Michelin 2 Star in San Remy France”
Reviewed 7 June 2013

This was not an average dinner experience, it was a food experience you would expect at a Michelin rated restaurant.

We had the privilege of both lunch and dinner at this fine restaurant.

The service, plating, presentation, service and taste all are of the highest quality.

We enjoyed every moment and every bite.

The sommelier made the perfect recommendation from Casa Madero, which we learned is the oldest winery in the Americas. We will be seeking more of this excellent winery.

I am happy with every peso spent.

“Still our favorite”
Reviewed 12 April 2013 via mobile

We were very excited to return to Pitiona after a wonderful experience we had a year ago. We were a little apprehensive the food and the new location wouldn't live up to our expectations, but not to worry, everything was a step up. We were very fortunate to have Lorena be our server, actually, she is more of a Sommelier. She speaks terrific English and expertly guided us in our choices of flights of Mezcal and wine parings. Dishes not to be missed include Shrimp Ceviche, raw oysters with beet foam, rib eye steak ( the best I have ever had) and the fish of the day. Deserts are a real treat, especially the chocolate ones, if you have room after dinner. We returned several nights later, after making sure we had Lorena serving us again and enjoyed another completely different meal that was just as wonderful as the previous one. On thing I should mention, is that we had fun. While they take the food perpetration very seriously, they know how guide you to new taste experiences that make you want to come back.

“Creative, fun, delicious!”
Reviewed 9 April 2013

The 6 course tasting menu is a great option to know some of the dishes available. There are some options which were not as amazing as expected, but in general I really did love it, and would definitely return.

“service not friendly”
Reviewed 25 February 2013

This restaurant was recommended by a Mexican friend who is a foodie so we were really looking forward to it. The room where we were seated and were the only guests was lacking in warmth as was the wait staff. While the service was efficient, we felt rushed and found the food only average.
