This restaurant had been recommended to us by friends who loved it but we were very disappointed. The margueritas were dreadful, tasted like a mix and that they had left out the tequila. We thought the food was pretty dismal too, not actively nasty but just not very good. The restaurant seemed to cater mainly to groups, it is quite a large place. Service was fine. Interesting that it gets such mixed reviews.

We enjoyed La Poloma twice on our recent trip. The food is fresh and delicious and very reasonable. The Chicken Mole was especially good. The waiters don't speak English well, but the menus are in Spanish and English. The wine list is decent - the Chilean wines were fairly priced, but the local beers are a much better value. Overall - worth the visit the first time, and worth returning to a week later !

We have been eating here twice and both times the food, service and ambiance was excellent!
The chile en nogada (filled pepper) was so good that I took it both times. My partner had fish and beef and this was prepared very well too. There is also a lot of traditional Mexican food on the menu.

Had only a soup (flor de calabaza) but it was canned. My parrtner had a salmon carpaccio except it was smoked salmon from the CHE supermarket lying in cheap olive oil. The place attracts tourists probably because of the good marketing performance to each and every hotel in SCLC.
A pseudo chic decoration does not mean good food.

European style restaurant with very modern furnishings serving nouvelle cuisine. Food was cooked well and beautifully presented. Rather expensive all things considered. It is a safe choice but we prefer to eat more heartilly.
