This is one one of the best - or maybe even the best - hotels I stayed at during my 4 1/2 months trip through Central America and Mexico. I chose it after reading the enthusiastic reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. The hotel is new but built in colonial style. It is very comfy and classy. The rooms are beautifully decorated. Some of them are in the main building around the corridor, the quieter ones, including mine, on two floors around a nice patio. The front desk lady was extremely nice and helpful and made everything possible, even a breakfast on a morning that the staff had to attend a seminar. One evening my TV did not work. I talked to the young boy who had night shift. He came over but could not solve the problem. A minute later he knocked on my door, offered me a chewing gum and asked if he could bring me a cup of tea or coffee. It seemed he was sorry for not being able to help me! I found that cute. I left the hotel after two nights because I was invited to a home stay. When my host arrived, the friendly front desk lady asked him which hotel he was going to take me to - I had to assure her that I was really about to stay with a family and that I would never have left for another hotel!

Colonial building converted into a hotel, really nicely renovated with plenty of character. As soon as we entered, the smell was so inviting, rooms spacious and everything clean. This really was a classy hotel and run very well, efficient management. Highly recommend it.

If you are after spotless rooms in a colourful hotel with lots of character , friendly staff, a fast laundry service, a free bottle of water in your room each day in a very quiet but central location then look no further! At this price you won't find any better! Superb!
