With nice staff and delicious cakes, tarts, this far surpasses any other european influenced cafe I have found in Mexico. There are two cafes, the one on Real de Guadalupe and a much larger one south of the Zocolo. We once ordered a pain au chocolat that didn't have any chocolate but they replaced it straight away. I know for a fact that the pastry chef is world class, which you can tell just by looking in the panoramic photo of the food cabinet. The intense chocolate and the other chocolate ones are especially divine ....

I would recommend the smaller cafe just for the vibe of the street its on, however the other one is luxuriously roomy and modern. (though it doesn't have outside seating). Enjoy the hot chocolate, which we think rivals all the chocolate cafes in town. Cakes are divine. YUM!

We visited the smaller of the two several times during our short stay. The coffee and the pastries simply were so great. We'd squeeze into one of the two tables outside with strangers and get a chance to practice our spanish while enjoying the goods.

The hot chocolate is also to try. The variety of cakes and small pastries is very impressing. We loved it. And, compared to home ( canada) it cost us the price of one speciality coffee at home for both the coffee and fancy pastry !

everything weve tried was amazing..the cappuchino...the little cakes everything..BUT the girl giving out the cakes was not friendly at all.. a little respectless attending people in the back first and not really listening to what you even want to order...the thing is that they have so many little cakes..but there is nowhere a description whats in them..or at least what kind of cake it is..
