Many hotels over-rate themselves....and 'friends' do , as well. In this case...La Joya is simply impossible to over-rate! I have stayed in many of the worlds' best hotels....in more than 45 countries. I don't believe I have ever encountered the "degree" of concern...and care....and beauty !!! that John and Ann provide at La Joya. From 800 to 1200 thread count linens on all the beds ....to the gorgeous flower arrangements in both "public spaces" and the private rooms, themselves...to the quality of the silverware!!! To the original works of art that are spread through the Hotel....all of the most amazing quality (not local quality! but "world" quality!!!) to the genuine desire that John and Ann possess to assure each guest of his or her ultimate comfort. As well as "comfort".....the overall "serenity" and beauty of the hotel can not be surpassed. I have a friend who is more rich than any one person should be on this planet of ours....and he has not come up to the "level" that John and Ann have achieved in what is, after all, a space open to the Public. And it's not that he doesn't make extraordinary efforts to achieve the 'best possible' home environment that he can. He does! But very few people have the intrinsic good taste and sense to apply those things in ways that actually "provide" the things that normally only the most lucky people in the world are able to enjoy.
Ann and John have it all "at the ready" for anybody smart enough to take advantage of what they offer. If you are hesitant to pay a small amount of money 'more' than average hotels charge for "not very much of anything truly good"....don't be! You will NOT be disappointed on any level....and once you've checked in to La Joya...prepare yourself for never wanting to leave! Leaving is the only disappointing thing about La Joya!
