Boutique Pueblo Lindo

We've stayed numerous hotels in Taxco but keep coming back to Pueblo Lindo. To us, it's the best option for the location price cleanliness and value. The hotel is located just a short walk to the Saturday Tianguis where all jewelry artisans are on exhibit. There Is a bank conveniently located immediately across the street, as well as a building filled with wholesale jewelry dealers. We visit Taxco every six months for our business and find the services commensurate with our needs.

I decided to visit Taxco 2 days before the trip so I called the hotel at 11:00PM. What a nice surprise to be treated so kindly at that hour. Luckly, I got a Room.
It's a small, pretty hotel. Very clean with Great condition of maintanance.
Of course it's small, it's a "Hotel Boutique".
Nice food at the restaurant.
The barman it's very kind. He didn't know the cranberry juice and some cocktails but he was ready to learn.
Maybe the only inconvenient was the jacuzzi's temperature at December but it's a minor problem.
And the location can't be better. Halfway from the silver "tianguis" and downtown. (4-6 blocks) from any of them.

For the price ($100 a night when we were there) it was not up to par. At first, they tried to take us to a room that didn't even have a window, which rather misses the point of the town. The room we wound up with, after insisting on a new one, did have a view and it was stunning. Here's what else was weird: EVERYTHING in the room was for sale. The hideous painting. The bizarre table ornaments. The inexplicable washcloths-turned-into-dolls. I was also not very impressed with the service. For $50, I would have given it 4 stars, but what we got wasn't worth the price.

This was my first time in this Hotel, I have been several times in diferent ones but the price we got ( aprox 80 usd ) was great for what we got. Nice view in allmost every room. Rooms very comfy with plasma tv, beds very comfortable also. another good thing is that hotel has a little pool with jacuzzi. Food in restaurant also very good. I recommend this hotel for both, buisness and pleasure.

Room Tip: Room 302 seems to have the best view of the city

A very cute little hotel located in the downtown of Taxco walking distance to a bus terminal, zocalo, restaurants and of course the myriad of silver vendors. The hotel has potential to be a romantic get away, with a rooftop bar with an amazing view, but the pool was full of screaming kids from open to close and pool water splashed into main walking paths leading to our "junior suite" which was just a regular though pleasant hotel room. I did not fancy walking through water each time we entered our room, however the room was clean and the staff was polite and very kindly stored our luggage for us after check out as we did not depart until later that afternoon. The majority of the clientele were Mexican families and I would definitely classify this as a family vacation spot, not to be mistaken for a luxury hotel.

Room Tip: Try to get a room above pool level.

Taxco is a small town, so it's not hard to find a hotel that has a good location. This hotel has nice rooms, friendly staff and a great view. We didn't eat there at all so I don't know about the food, but the rooms were a good size and very clean.
