We were recommended to here by the owner of our hotel. We took the collectivo and it dropped us at the top of a dust road. It was a fair walk down to the entrance where there is a security hut. He booked us in and took ID. It is to monitor people as it is entrance to a hotel and restaurant too.
There is one restaurant, with parasols and loungers and a pool. If you buy a drink they are happy for you to use their facilities. It was quite busy the day we went as it was a weekend and school holidays.
We walked a little further south and found a palm tree for shade where the beach and sea were quieter.
