“The few rides at the park are fun, but the food is atrocious”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

We visited the park on our son's 13th birthday on half-price tickets. The park essentially only has 5 rides - with the "Bubba" slide and the Kamikaze slide being very good rides - plus a lazy river (with tube rentals costing extra) and a wave pool. As such, it didn't take long for our boys to start getting bored at the park, particularly as the lines started to get long. Of all the places we've been though, I don't know that we've been to an attraction that has worse food. The cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets and pizza (even made in a brick oven) were as bad as any food we've ever had and we all struggled to eat anything. The beer, though, was nice and cold. The only reason that I gave this attraction a "3" instead of a "2" is because of the half-price tickets. I certainly would NOT recommend going to this park on full-price tickets.

“So much fun”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We went on a 50% off discount so it was double the fun than it would have been at full price haha food is included, and there is a lot of food surprisingly to choose from, inclding pizza, quesadillas, ice cream, nuggets, fries, burgers, etc. I went on a tuesday so I dont know how busy it usually is, but the lines were not long at all. We would have to wait for the biggest ride longer obviousely, but the rest was fast. It is farther than we assumed though, but that did not really affect anything, maybe we should have left earlier (coming from playa del carmen). I would go again for sure.

“Fun but could be better”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

We had fun for a few hours in this water park. As others have mentioned, there are just a few slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, bumper boats and some regular pools. Nothing spectacular but better than your average hotel pool. As a whole package, it's not bad, you get to spend a few fun hours. Minimum height for slides is 42 inches or 1.07 meters. There are bees near the garbage cans and soda machines so people with allergies should be careful.

The good: nothing outstanding to mention here. Food is ok. Park is small so you don't have to walk too much.

The bad: lockers are extremely small, meaning your average backpack will not easily fit in it. You will also need your paper receipt for the locker to survive for the day to get your deposit back. There are tubes for rent that can be used in the lazy river or the wave pool but it cannot go into the kid's pool. You might end up having to choose between watching your child or baby sitting your tube. If your tube is "misplaced", you have to pay again.

We were willing to overlook many of the negatives that other people wrote about such as the number of slides, obvious age of some of the structures, and quality of food. The main thing that bothered us was the lack of sanitary conditions. Our 5 year old mainly played in the kiddie area and it was troubling to see how many infants/toddlers were not in swim diapers or even swim suits for that matter. We are open minded but no one wants to see breastfeeding in the middle of the pool. Needless to say our little guy is sick after a morning at Wet N Wild. Our older daughter had a blast on slides but its definitely a few hour time killer rather than excursion. We did not even try the food cause our swimsuits were stained from leaning against some of the walls in the pool area.

“Go to Xcaret instead”
Reviewed 30 July 2014 via mobile

Very basic water park. Very few slides and none are that great. My 12 year old daughter was bored in an hour. Not much shade and what there is, gets very busy. The food contrary to other reviews is NOT free! You pay to get into the place remember. What's more it is really poor food at that. If you need to decide on going, Xcaret with the evening show is a much much better option...
