This was our first time staying at Crown Paradise Club and we loved it! We went from sept 9-16, we had amazing weather the whole trip! The staff was very friendly, we especially loved our bartender at the adult pool Gerardo, he made us the best shots/drinks all week! All of the restaurants were good but our fav was the italian restaurant. Our room was more towards the back and part of our view was an abandoned hotel but we still had an ocean view which was beautiful. They offered plenty of excursions at the hotel we did xplor which was awesome, and we also did parasailing. It was off season so the place wasnt crowded at all which was very nice, we met some really great people at the resort. One of the days we took a cab and went into town to do some market shopping and go to senior frogs, we felt very safe the entire time. I would def stay here again and cant wait to go back to Cancun!!!!

we recently stayed at this resort and had a wonderful time. do not believe any of the bad reviews. the food is what you would expect for a 3 star resort.if you want food that is 5 star go to a 5 star resort and pay double. there was plenty of variety to eat.the rooms were clean and our view was great. we had antonio r. clean our room and he did a wonderful job.also thumbs up to antonio at the lobby bar as he became good buddies with our son. all the people that served you food did an outstanding job. the slides were fun.we spent alot of time there.the kids waterpark was real fun too.checkin was easy.the concierge andrea helped with our dinner reservations about 1 week before we arrived.we also were celebrating a birthday and she made sure that the cake was at our dinner.she also handled our request for rooms next to each other as we were traveling with friends.again keep in mind that this is a family resort.some parents let there children go wild.if you don't want to have children around i suggest to book somewhere else.over all we would recommend this hotel and plan on going back next year.don't listen to the people that complain about this resort, they are just looking for something free or just like to complain.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst touring mexico. Overall the hotel was very nice, our room was at the back and unfortunately overlooked the derelict hotel next door. Staff were lovely apart from some of the reception staff. Our toilet blocked every day and we had to keep asking for someone to come and unblock it, turned out there was a toothbrush wedged down there from a previous occupant.

The bus stop is just outside and you can hop on and off up to the bars etc for just a few pence. We did the local organised bar crawl and met some wonderful people from all over, was a cracking night. Not a lot of entertainment in the evening for families etc.

Room Tip: If you like good night life stay further up.

This was our first time in Mexico and Crown Paradise did not let us down. We went from 1st Sept for 2 weeks. Hotel staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Check in could have been quicker, but not as bad if there had been a lot of us on the bus to check in. So no problem really. Our room did look on to the wrecked place next door, but it was only about a 1/3 of the view the rest was the turquoise sea and it was fabulous!, just the sound of it was relaxing. The room itself was lovely, two double beds, plenty of space for your clothes, free safe..A/C worked well. We did not have a club room we did think about an upgrade when we were there, but didnt think it was worth the extra £300, but check it out before you book, you can get a good deal...
The choices of food and restaurants was great, we didnt have any probs booking the restaurants, just had to remember to ring and make a reservation!! so relaxed you tended to forget! but always got somewhere. Our fav place to eat was the french, very classy and food lush, then the Mexican where the ambiance of the place made it extra special, friendly and happy place, food really good, least fav was Wayne's boots, steak was like leather on your boots! but we could have given it another go, as there are other things on the menu! Room service was good, but it does take 30-40mins to come, so prepare for that, we usually just ordered tea/coffee or beer after returning from the day in the sun, we did order breakfast on the last morning and it was really nice, hot and fresh, just make sure you leave ur order on your door at night
Never ever was pressured by the sales reps, they wander about but if you show disinterest they will not hassle you. Loved all the wee market stalls that were around every other day! You must haggle.......they love it! and you will get your goods for less than half of the original price.
Loved the lazy days by the pool/beach..... the choices of where you want to relax are great, we loved the atmosphere at the main pool and just watching people have fun.
Didnt ever go to the theatre, we were usually eating during this time 830-930! but heard it was fine, after evening meal we would relax at the collage bar! where there were some fun and games for a short while...you must try blue hawaii cocktails, lovely! There was proper brand drinks which was great. We would always end up at the trafalgar bar, which was busy and met some nice people, the bar staff Albert and Karen worked hard and loved the banter! We were introduced to "Mexican Flags" a lovely shot! and Alberts speciallity, that was our night cap every night! yumm.... On the downside there could have been a bit more varied adult entertainment, say between 10-12pm, as the disco bar was Never busy, it could be in there. Perhaps a comedian or some live music, that would have really made the night, it was relaxing but a choice of entertainment wouldve just been nice.
We did go to the tc project and visited 3 bars before heading to coco bongos, which you must experience!! was different and you get caught up with the camaraderie of it all. Drinks in the bars were iffy! dont take the drinks they lay out for you just head for the bar!
We went to the dolphin swim and that was amazing, highlight of the holiday!! they are such special creatures,so gentle, intelligent and classy! Just loved it.
All in all a fabulous holiday, CPC are special for the price we paid, would def go again, never been to the same hotel twice, so would try another hotel just for comparison, but CANCUN a must if you've never been before!! You are guarenteed to have fun! ENJOY!

Had an amazing two weeks at this hotel for my hubbys 40th, the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay a memorable one, we met some wonderful people and even got invited to a wedding while we were there, our excursions were to the Mayan Village and climbed a very high mountain, also went to Chitza Nitza which was very enjoyable

Room Tip: If you go without children book a spa room

Rooms: The rooms reminded me of any other average hotel room. Our room was close to over the main lobby area which has a bar. It was noisy at night, but we couldn't hear much over the crashing waves. Tip: If you have kids that sleep early, try getting a room away from the main bars that open late.

Location: Very close to the Cancun Airport but far enough that planes weren't flying over head.

Value: Bang for the buck it is a pretty good place. For how much we paid, it was good value. Although we are used to having better service, cleaner facilities and better food. This is not to say that the service, facilities or food were bad, they just weren't as good as we were used to.

Atmosphere: Quite family oriented. I mean, there are tons of couples but there was a large population of families.

Overall staff: The concierge and front desk staff weren't overly nice. The wait staff in the restaurants were much more friendly.

Food: The buffet had acceptable food. We are used to better food, but it was acceptable. The Mexican food in the buffet was probably the most authentic of Mexican foods that you will get at any resort in Mexico. I was very happy about that. They have a fruit juice stand for breakfast and fresh guacamole at lunch, which were great. The taco stand had great things for all 3 meals. Tip: Buy a $10 high chair cover and you're kids will really appreciate it. The high chairs are "perfectly" clean.

Wayne's Boots: It has a western tavern feel with a mexican twist. The steak was cooked the way I ordered it, and the kid's meals was the same as any of the other restaurants on the resort.

Italian: We're used to good Italian food (not being snotty about it, just giving an opinion). The Italian was an experience and not really a taste of Italy. It was a good attempt at Italian but not authentic.

Room cleaning staff: Not all that thorough. It was tidy-ed up but not really cleaned. Small things on the ground were still on the ground when we got back. It was acceptable but again, not all that clean, per se.

Beach: Clean sandy beach. The kids loved it. There was a storm while we were there, but the staff was continually cleaning the shores. The waters were a bit too choppy for the kids to play in but they were still able to get into the water to play. We really enjoyed the beach. There is a shower on the beach right at the steps of the resort. The water was warm (smiles for the kids).

Pools: We actually pick this resort for the children's pool park but we only went a few times. It was the perfect depth for our 2-3yr olds as well at the bigger kids. There is an infinity pool that overlooks the beach and waters as well.

Kid's Services: You can drop off your kids in the morning and pick them up at night. We didn't use this service. During the day there are hours that you can go with the kids and play in the rooms which was nice.

Excursions: We went on a SubSee (boat with a glass hull so that you can see the reefs, fishes, turtles and so on). The kids really enjoyed it. We took a 5 mins shuttle bus to the boat, then took a shuttle boat (with pops and cerveza) to the SubSee boat. The shuttle boat ride was as fun as the actual SubSee, there was an upper deck which the kids loved. Tip: get on last if you have kids so that you can get out to get some air if they feel sick.

Overall: Although some things were not up to par with other resorts/cruises that we've experienced, for the price, I really can't complain. The kids had a great time and the smaller things that bugged us "almost" disappeared.

Stayed 4 nights on a Costco Travel reservation late September, 2012. This is an all inclusive resort with great staff and good food. While the room was nice, the resort itself could stand a little TLC. I reserved a club room which is in tower 2 and includes a jacuzzi tub, ocean view and, on arrival, a bottle of sparkling wine and fresh fruit. There is also a small frig that is stocked daily with beer, soda and water. People in club rooms have access to the club lounge which was a great place to have breakfast, get help from a private concierge, use the computer and enjoy evening cocktails before dinner, even spent a rainy afternoon there reading.
My stay was "off season" so no problems with lines or crowds. From check-in to check-out, I met nothing but pleasant and helpful staff members. Food variety was awesome and my only complaint was the rib eye steak at Wayne's Boots. While this resort does not provider a "fine dining experience", it does provide a "friendly dining experience".

Room Tip: If you are an adult without children, upgrade to a club room. Well worth it.
