Small group and comfortable. David was our guide and he was knowledgeable. I was so impressed with the way he tied the civilizations together and tied LDS teachings to the Mayan civilization. I came away from this experience feeling very enlightened. Great company to do business with.

I picked this company after reading previous reviews on Tripadvisor, and I am pleased to say I was not disappointed.

They did such a wonderful job picking us up and returning to the airport, that we booked two tours with them. Arturo was our guide to Tulum and Chichen Itza, he was really knowledgeable and helpful. For our second trip Arnie took us to Coba and then to Xcaret, it was a fantastic day, and Arnie was brilliant making sure we had a great time.

I would strongly recommend them, and will definitely use them again when I get back to Mexico.

Miguel was very knowledgeable and informative about the Tulum ruins and the Mayan culture. This tour was a highlight of our trip. If more time, we would have scheduled a tour at Coba and other nearby ruins.

My group of 4 couples had an opportunity last week to take the Ek Ballum, Chichen Itza tour with David from Almas LDS tours. He was so wonderful. It was very informative, got us all to think about the Book of Mormon, and gave us great insight. They also stop at a lunch buffet, (that having done this before at a different stop) thought it might just be ok food. We were all plesantly surprised that it was very good food. Our final stop was at the Cenote (Sink Hole) to swim and play. After realizing that we were not going to make it to the 7 oclock ferry back to Cozumel, he told us just to have fun and play as long as we wanted. He did not rush us on any of the tours and felt like we had plenty of time to do all. By the end of the day We arrived back to Cozumel at around 11 pm, very tired but very happy.
Thanks David for being so helpful. We already are telling people here in Utah that they need to get ahold of you for a tour.

Tulum and Akumal where we were able to snorkel with the turtles! This was our 2nd time to Tulum and first time with Alma's. Our tour guide was David, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. There were only 10 of us in our group so there was plenty of time for questions. He made sure we were comfortable in finding us shade. It was especially interesting to learn about some of the LDS connections and insights that we didn't hear the first time.

After Tulum, we went to Akumal. David was with us, and made sure we got all the snorkeling gear and gave us pointers to have a good snorkeling experience. It was amazing to find so many sea turtles in Akumal, and it wasn't even crowded there. Lunch was included, and we had a delicious lunch of grilled fish, lime soup, guacamole and chips. We had transportation from our hotel, and they arrived right on time.

When I was booking the tour, I found the people I spoke with to be very informative and friendly. They answered my emails quickly, and I even spoke to them on the phone. You will not be disappointed if you book with Alma's, we were highly satisfied.
