I traveled during spring break and had a great time at this resort. (March 17th-March 22nd). We were greeted by staff when we entered the hotel, and asked if we wanted a drink immediately. The female receptionist was amazing and very accommodating, we were able to check in early which was a huge plus.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and made up everyday before we returned back to the room. The grounds and staff were absolutely immaculate. You always saw the staff working hard, cleaning, and saying hello.
The beach was beautiful, and there was never any issue finding a lounge chair.
Being younger adults the Solaris pool was much more fun than the more laid back pool. The staff and entertainment was good, however it was often difficult to find two lounges next to one another if you did not go earlier in the day and place towels on chairs.
It definitely was not a huge resort, but the attentive staff, and traditional Mexican decor and ambience certainly made the trip enjoyable.
Cafe solaris was good for breakfast, and lunch at the two more formal venues were better than the poolside food. Dinner at Marco Polo, Veneto, and Bogavante were all excellent.
The bellhop was also excellent, and very friendly.
The bus was super convenient, and cheap, 1 US dollar each way.
Overall it was a great trip.More
