This ultimate resort exceeds all my expectations. All inclusive food was great in all the restaurants. Tours and services are awesome and also included. "Time-share" sales pitch was not a hard-sell. Very respectful beautiful wonderful people who are all willing to serve. We were told when we got up to get some food, "You are on vacation..R-E-L-A-X!" Amazing place!

Room Tip: All rooms have a jacuzzi! If travelling w/ kids, it's so worth it to get a family room (they...

Chris & Lynn.
We recently returned from a fantastic holiday at the Grand. Resort huge so was very grateful for the golf buggies and coach to get us around the complex. Wonderful, spacious, well equipped rooms with own jacuzzi, well stocked mini-bar with optics and lovely patio area. Fantastic restaurants and able to eat at a different one every night sampling the various cuisines. Found queueing to book at the Italian restaurant based at the spa very tedious but well worth it. We had the best meal of the whole holiday and thoroughly recommend the seafood risotto. All areas of the complex from the well manicured gardens, communial areas, pools, bars and restaurants exceptionally clean and well maintained. Can highly recommend spending time at the poolside and restaurant area of the Taco Bar. A huge "Thank you and Hello" to Louis and Blanca who looked after us so attentively and somehow knew when our next drink was needed before we did. Also thank you to Blanca Serrano and Adriana Arriaya in the Caribeno restaurant. All staff at the resort where exceptionally professional, friendly and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble. For a quieter, more relaxing holiday we suggest you stay at the Grand section of the resort rather than the Sunrise. The pools here were less crowded and quieter, as was the beach, but would suggest more parasols be put on the beach here as there only a few and due to the heat and brisk sea breeze many people were getting burnt in the sun. Nizuk and Sunrise areas of the resort are much more lively, especially as it was Spring Break for the American guests, so would be rather noisy at times. Our one and only moan was when one evening we were served drinks in plastic cups at the rooftop bar over the Caribeno restaurant. When we asked the waitress why she had stopped serving drinks in proper glasses, she replied that as it was late (around 11.30pm) she couldn't be bothered to wash up. We would thoroughly recommend this resort and hope to return in the near future.

Moon Palace is a lovely resort I stayed in the Sunrise part with my wife and 2 children (age 14 & 12) we had a fantastic time. The rooms are nice, pool complex great although a bit busy over easter period, food in all restraunts was great particularly Bamboo the staff are very attentive and friendly and can not do enough for you. The resort credits are easy to use and enabled us to go on tours, use spa, beauty salon, have photos done and a romantic meal. The only downside is the beach which is ok but lots of seaweed.
Worth paying to go to Xel-Ha and Xplore these trips were amazing and one of the best places we have visited.

Just got back from a short business trip at the Moon Palace Resort and had a wonderful experience!
The facilities were well-manicured and taken care of. There was a nice array of pools to choose from during the day and great entertainment at night! The staff in particular were extremely warm and welcoming. I would like to extend a special thank-you to Angel and Valentin, chefs, Julio and Calixto, as well as, the manager, Ana. They made my stay there comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort as both a family and business destination.

We stayed at Moon Palace - Sunset last week. The resort itself is expansive with huge pools, exceptional restaurants, and a very professional and friendly staff. It was a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The only negative about our trip was that there is a white sand beach a few hundred feet from the resort, but there is a lot of seaweed and debris in the water and at the edge of the sand so ocean swimming is not an option. Cancun has beautiful beaches, but this particular resort is unfortunately not on one of them.

Nice pools but very crowded and the not saving chair rule should be enforced. Food was fine. Liked the lunch fare at the Nizuc pool. The Grease and Urban shows were very fun and entertaining. The spa was just ok. I have had much better in Cancun. Personally, I prefer a smaller resort. Do not book here if you do not like or cannot handle a lot of walking.
