Description: Experience the delicious tastes of Mexican coffee and chocolate, direct from the plantation. In Ah Cacao, coffee, chocolate and vanilla are presented in all their mouth watering forms, from artisanal coffee drinks by skilled baristi, to soft, succulent, brownies baked daily. They even have have a range of chocolate body care products - you have to try the chocolate shampoo! And if you're concerned about your health, check out the cacao products with no added sweeteners. These give you all of the health benefits of cacao (antioxidants that fight aging, blood pressure reduction, increased mental acuity, etc.) without any sugar or artificial sweeteners. Best of all, thanks their fine-flavor criollo-type cacao, they taste great. The ancient Maya knew that cacao was something special when they began cultivating it thousands of years ago and you can enjoy their gift today at Ah Cacao. Don't forget to buy for your friends, family and pantry back home!

This chocolate was amazing. You could almost taste the history behind the recipes. Try the Mayan Chocolate.

“Best brownies ever!”
Reviewed 10 September 2013 via mobile

Visited this place after a long day and enjoyed some cookies and cream ice cream (homemade) and a brownie. They did not disappoint! So glad we visited after reading such good reviews. A little gem in the midst of all the high street shops in La Isla! Highly recommended.

“Delicious drinking chocolates”
Reviewed 17 August 2013 via mobile

We ordered both drinking chocolates, both very delicious. But I would recommend the Maya because of the spices and it was easier to drink by itself - unless you like drinking melted chocolate cake - not a bad thing ;-)

“Best Vanilla Latte ever!”
Reviewed 9 August 2013

We visited Ah Cacao at Plaza La Isla several times...cannot believe we actually had coffee at a famous chain coffee house (you know the one!), before trying this!! The store is really set up nice, with several products ranging from chocolate to skin care products, but the real star is the coffee! I usually do not drink hot coffee but after trying their vanilla latte I can understand how addicting coffee could be! I also tried a frappe which was amazing too! We had the corn cake every time too, the texture looked like a cheesecake but was far less sweet and just overall tasty! I definitely recommend bypassing other coffee places and giving Ah Cacao a try..you won't regret it!
