Description: Experience the delicious tastes of Mexican coffee and chocolate, direct from the plantation. In Ah Cacao, coffee, chocolate and vanilla are presented in all their mouth watering forms, from artisanal coffee drinks by skilled baristi, to soft, succulent, brownies baked daily. They even have have a range of chocolate body care products - you have to try the chocolate shampoo! And if you're concerned about your health, check out the cacao products with no added sweeteners. These give you all of the health benefits of cacao (antioxidants that fight aging, blood pressure reduction, increased mental acuity, etc.) without any sugar or artificial sweeteners. Best of all, thanks their fine-flavor criollo-type cacao, they taste great. The ancient Maya knew that cacao was something special when they began cultivating it thousands of years ago and you can enjoy their gift today at Ah Cacao. Don't forget to buy for your friends, family and pantry back home!

Chocolate moose to die for! Delicious, great find! If you are in the mall well worth a stop between shops. Plenty of other treats too...lives up to the rep on here and not too pricey for Cancun.

“Sweet surprise”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

Had a mocha decaf coffee after dinner elsewhere in the La Isla Shopping Center. Had to try the brownies too as they looked too good to pass up. Delish!!! Also so fun to sit in their outdor area and people watch. Made for an enjoyable and very tasty ending to the evening.

“Chocolate makes everything better”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

While in Cancun, I followed tripadvisor reviews and came across Ah Cacao Chocolate Cafe. Had no intentions of making a special trip out to visit this cafe, but happened to stop at La Isla Shopping Village and recognized the store front and name. I was there, so why not check it out. What a great decision! The chocolate was some of the best I've had and so was the iced chocolate drink as well. Well worth a drop-in if out shopping for the day or just looking for a cool refreshment on a humid, hot cancun day. Would have made a second trip before leaving town if I could have arranged, I would certainly visit again and recommend.

Note: they do not accept AMEX, but take pesos, us currency and other major credit cards.
