I am in the hospitality business and I cannot say enough about my experience as a Royal guest at the Pardisus in Cancun Mexico.. Our butler Juan could not do enough for us and was so accomodating.. I almost felt like family after only 5 days... Then we had the pool bar with all the servers for the beach and pool Francisco Terrazas and Rogelio Romano and gonzales every single one of them made our stay so special... The VIP staff at the Royal building was incredible and the girl at the coffee station every morning was delightful.. Thank you for making my 1st international travel experience wonderful.. I will be back due to your service.. The facility is clean and the restaurants are appropriate for all inclusive.. Can't wait to see you all again..

We had a nice week at the Paradisus Resort Club Melia. The staff in the restaurants and buffet where excellent. The food was very good at most eatery's with the 'Vento' being the least favorite and the 'Market Grill' for dinner was the favorite. The buffet was very good for breakfast and lunch. It would be nice if the resort offered a taco or small burrito by the pool area's. Hotdogs and hamburgers where good for the kids near the pool and the service around the pool was excellent.
The resort offers non motorized water sports across the street, paddle boats and kayaks, not very convenient. It would have been nice if the resort offered a 'boogie board' to play in the surf.
We had a large one bedroom two bath suite with nice amenities. We had to call twice for the mini bar to be restocked during our stay but they did respond quickly to correct the problem.
We did have a problem receiving service from our concierge, she didn't respond to our requests for transportation information after stating she would "get back to us before noon". We didn't see her for the rest of our stay.
It would be nice if the hotel had a stage/theater for the shows they performed as they used a small open area in the Avenue bar and is not conducive to viewing.
This is a nice resort but needs to improve on their cleanliness of rooms and concierge service.

This was our THIRD time visiting this resort, and noticed some changes in staff. We spent seven days over the Thanksgiving holiday, and enjoyed every minute. Our concierge, Arturo, was absolutely fantastic. Although, he had only been there for one month, we was a sound professional, courteous and efficient in every way! Also, Flor, our poolside waitress was the nicest person who took care of us everyday with drinks and food! Also, Karina, was terrific in finding us a new room when our bathtub pluming failed. Not only did she assist in finding us another room, but it was a better set-up. She helped us in so many ways for other things, as well! We really enjoy the Melia product and will return in the near future!

It was a great week at Paradisus. Rest. Naos & Market Grill are excellent , most of staff members are pro. Captain Paola, Jesus and the chef Moises are the best, they took care of my wife all the times.
The hotel is beautiful, is a great place to spend a week relaxing and enjoying the Caribbean sun

We returned after a 7 day trip. We had a 1 bdrm family concierge suite and a junior lagoon view suite. Thankfully, we got interconnecting rooms in building 1 which houses all FC categories.

The rooms were good,clean and always perfectly serviced. Room service,house keeping ,maintainance were very prompt. We ate twice at Bana which we loved, Vento was very good. Blue agave was horrible ( our experience ) and the buffet was good and plentiful but never once did they have ceviche or shrimp or crab in the buffet. The desserts in the buffet were really bad too.....same tasteless cakes and gummy soufflés over and over again. The room service was really good though.

The pools are gorgeous but here's where we were disappointed. They are deep....even at the shallowest point they are 5 feet and deepest is 6 feet. And they are not heated. Even the kids pool is not heated. Even the so called jacuzzis all round the pool are not heated! So many times,the pools were empty as no one wanted to enter the cold pools ,specially since it was partly cloudy,rainy and very windy while we were there. The poolside service is good but becomes very good if you tip earlier on in the day.

As FC category, we got a Bali bed 3 days of our stay but our pool concierge Juan was missing the first 5 days. The first 2 days I tried to hunt him down ,literally I must have asked 6 waiters to find him. He found us on the last day by accident! Our butler Karla was very nice....she checked on us almost everyday. But the cell phones they gave us never got us connected to the butler or the concierge. They would just keep ringing. Finally,I started going through operator to reach FC lounge. Why give something if it doesn't work?

The lobby,the lounges,the decor is beautiful. They do have too shelf liquor but use some local stuff to mix your drinks. The good ones are on display so you would think this is what you are being served but so many times I had to get my drink changed because they would use some unheard of labels in the shelves under the bar counter where you can't see those.

All in all, it was good stay but not a great one. My parents went for the first time so they loved it. We have been to grand velas in riviera maya twice and once in Paradisus Palma real in punta Cana. So this one really fell short on every level. On the face of it,everything is nice but if you've been to quality resorts,you can feel the difference in little things. I'm not being over picky here,just very honest. This one is not quite there yet!

Room Tip: The rooms get smaller as you go higher up the floors!

My husband and I and my sister and bother-in-law spent a relaxing week at the Paradisus Resort Club Melia. From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and most accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and as soon as you arrive the smell is amazing, like flowers! We had a two bedroom unit with living room and kitchen. It was very comfortable and way more space than we actually needed, but so nice. We had the all inclusive and the food and beverages were very good. We especially enjoyed the service of Jaime and Jaime at the NAOS Restaurant. They were so friendly and attentive to us during our meals. All of the restaurants were first class and the food at the Market Grill was excellent. The pools are outstanding and the service provided was first rate! I would definitely travel here again.

Restaurant Mole & Market Grill are excellent , most of staff members are pros
Location is important to me and Paradisus has one of a kind.hotel design is very nice , pools specially by the ROYAL SERVICE is very comfortable & cozy
