This was our second year staying at the Royal Services at this resort! Royal Services is the way to go. The service is magnificent from the moment you step in this gorgeous Hotel you are treated with much respect and friendliness. They have many restaurant to choose from. One of our favorite was "Vento" the setting of this restaurant is very pretty and the Tapas are delicious. Another one of our favorite is "Mole", where the food is fresh and unique. The "Mariachi" gives this restaurant an authentic touch. A great addition this year in Royal Services was the option to enjoy breakfast by the pool at "La Palapa" and it's beautiful setting. All the staff from the hotel especially from Royal Services will do everything to make your stay one to remember. Royal Services by the pool make you feel very relax and Francisco service is on surpassed. This Resort is a very good value and highly recommend give it a try. PARADISUS WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR. The resort was beautiful and I was amazed from the moment we got there. We decided to do the royal service upgrade which was $100 extra a night. This includes a lot of great things such as a room in a quiet and private building away from screaming children, an atrium with food available for most of the day and a bar to make drinks, a private pool, private beach area, private outdoor bar and breakfast area, bali beds that can be reserved, a butler who assists you with things you need such as dinner reservations, and several free amenities at the spa. Everything was great with the exception of the last two. Turns out the free spa items weren't available because that area of the spa was "unexpectedly closed for maintenance" for 3 weeks and the people at the front desk neglected to mention that. After telling the staff about our displeasure with these spa amenities not being available we each received a free 25 minute massage. Our butler (I believe his name was Hector Ibarra) was very nice but he continuously messed up our dinner reservations which resulted in lots of confusion and frustration.
Even though it rained almost everyday we were still able to spend time by the pool and beach sheltered in our comfortable bali beds. Our server by the pool/beach Francisco Terrazas was amazing. He took the time to get to know us and basically had our drink orders memorized by the 2nd or 3rd day there (he is also a pretty funny guy). The ocean was pretty choppy all week but the water is very clear and beautiful. The food was unique and each restaurant offers something different so you won't get bored and won't feel the need to eat off the resort too often.
Overall the trip was amazing despite crappy weather and the paradisus was very good to us despite a few minor issues and if you decide to upgrade to royal service make sure that everything that is promised to you is available.
P.S. Make sure you tip the bartenders/servers well and they will take care of you. I'm pretty sure they don't make that much per day and the tips are where they make the majority of their money.

Room Tip: If you don't have an ocean view room in the royal service area then you are probably looking at...

We recently stayed at Paradisus for my son's amazing beach wedding. The facility is beautiful and the staff is extremely accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing. The overall experience by far exceeded our expectations. Since returning we've told everyone we know they should vacation to Cancun and stay at Paradisus. We have made it a goal to return ASAP.

Planned a trip here for a party of 13 monkeys.. And there was always something different for the group to do. This all inclusive hotel was only 20 minutes from the airport and and a little less further from the party scene in Cancun. But the hotel was perfect, the staff was always friendly and helpful. They also have a swim up bar where you can spend the whole day just drinking all the well mixed up drinks you can..but if you rather you can do it at the beach too which is only 50 ft away from the pool. They have beach chairs tables and cabanas set up for you and the water was one of the best I've swam in. For activities they have a gym and other accommodations set up at their red lounge games and such for the kiddies and for the golfer, there's a 9 hole par 3 which was fun! I brought my own clubs so I'm not sure how much to rent maybe..
The food at the resort was perfectly fine with me. It is all inclusive so for the options they have it was great. Spent most of the time eating at Naos? Which was the buffet and the taco joint across the way. For the "specialty" restaurants you just need to make reservations and the service at those places were just as good.
The only drawback to be honest was that the pool would close at 7pm. If they fixed that I woulda gave a 100%.. But nonetheless I would come back here.

Room Tip: I don't know, choose a room close to the elevators?

The hotel was beautiful and staff accommodating and very friendly. The all inclusive was sooo convenient, and made the trip less stressful. We unfortunately had rain every day of our trip so could not fully enjoy the warm sun and beach. My husband and myself fully intend on returning to the Paradisus in the near future and would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The resort was just too hot. All pools closed at 7:00 which was disappointing. The buffet was at best okay. The Royal Service wasn't any different then normal room service. The resort was very beautiful though. If you're looking for beauty and not comfort.
