This is truly a once in a lifetime experience, my mom and I went together and though we got very seasick, we still had an incredible time and have no regrets! Our guide Diego and captain julian were friendly, funny and attentive. On the boat ride to sea Diego warned us that of course the sharks are wild animals and therefore we would have to be patient when looking for them as they are constantly on the move. We were expecting to see a few whale sharks, maybe 3-5, but we happened upon a group of 50+!! The beautiful animals aren't bothered in the slightest by humans in their water, making it possible for you to be just a few feet from them.
I recommend this trip to anyone, but definitely bring seasickness medication as they aren't allowed to sell it!!
