“Lovely, clean and quite!”

This location was perfect for me. Martha and David picked me up from the air port. Only a short bus ride from the beach. Easy access to everything that you might need.
The place is quite and clean. English language spoken perfectly! Nice breakfast for the day. Cheerful, friendly people. I highly recommend this place if you do not need the beach outside your door.

“Nice B&B at Cancun center”

We are group of 5 friends. We fond of travel and this summer our destination was Mexico. We had almost 5 days at Cancun to visit major Maya sites. And beach, of course. :)

We looked for a decent and not too expensive accommodation and chose this B&B. We are glad with our choice. Martha and David are excellent hosts. They are very kind and helpful. Martha helped us with our tours to some Maya sites. David showed us the best beach in Cancun. We are grateful to both of them.
The rooms are cozy and clean. And we loved mexican breakfasts.
Bus stop is close enough, but you should be aware that the beach is in 15 minutes ride at least. The ride to the best beach takes half an hour and then 10 minutes walk. It's not a big problem, but you should take it into account.

“Wonderful hosts, great location.”

My family of 3 so enjoyed our visit to Cancun, and our stay at Los Caracoles B&B was a large part of it. The owners Martha, David and their son Phillip were amazing hosts. We sat sometimes for extended periods over the lovely, traditional, Mexican breakfasts and discussed and laughed about life, what we did the prior day and had planned for upcoming days. Martha booked us on several tours and graciously drove us to the pick-up points in the early morning. The bedrooms were air conditioned and comfortable for sleeping. The home was clean and inviting. Our only minor exception to Los Caracoles was the albeit clean, non-air conditioned, bathroom we shared with one other guest room.

The location of Los Caracoles B&B is great, in a safe neighborhood, away from the craziness, isolation, and expense of the Hotel Zone. It was just a few minutes walk to the bus station and supermarket, where we exchanged money at the ATM daily. We used the Santander Bank ATM, which is a sister bank to our BofA, and therefore were not charged a service fee. Before leaving the US, check to see if your bank has a sister bank in Mexico for this reason. Since we used credit cards for most purchases $500 Pesos/day was usually adequate for snacks, souvenirs & taxis. We enjoyed being able to walk to and around downtown to explore, shop and eat.

Prior to leaving home, Martha offered pick-up/drop-off service to/from the airport. Her price was very reasonable and well worth the peace of mind, not to mention the tour she gave us to help us gain our bearings. Some of the fondest memories we take from Cancun were the connections we made with our hosts at Los Caracoles B&B. This was my difficult-to- please, 15-year-old, son's "favorite vacation." If/when we return to Cancun we will stay with Martha and David again.

“a nice little spot !”
Reviewed 23 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

This location was great for Cancun. You're out of the Hotel Zone but you can get to the beach by taking one 10 minute bus ride. Air conditioning is nice in the room. Martha and Dave are super nice people. You can lock your room up and then share the bathroom with one other room. I like how close it was to the grocery store and to the bus station. That's where I caught my bus back to the airport. Good value for money.

“Awesome Breakfasts, Best Place to Stay in Town”

My wife Christie and I were traveling all along Guatemala, Belize and the Mexican Caribbean during our month long vacation. Towards the last week of our trip, we headed to Playa del Carmen and Cancun.

I am glad we found this nice and cozy place to stay in the very heart of Downtown where we felt welcomed by David and Martha, they were really friendly and caring, gave us better insight as to where to explore, interesting places to visit, how to move around, restaurants to go dining to, Mexican folklore and traditions, and even gave us access to enjoy discounted tours, we took one to Chichen Itza and a sail boat / snorkeling trip to Isla Mujares.

We really enjoyed the delicious Mexican breakfasts that Martha served and it was great to have a fast and reliable internet link to be able to communicate with family and keep up with work, informed by my employees.

I could easily say that this was one of our best experiences of our whole trip.
