This hotel was good location wise but they had almost none good options for vegetarians . Fine dining like zai had strict menu with no alterations to be made .
Rooms were kept clean but were not sound proof at all . You can hear people next to you loud and clear . Also hallways outside rooms had smell at times .
We still made fun with our trip but if above mentioned things can be fixed it be great to stay here again . Beach was very easy access and beautiful .

Regarding to vegetarians, please feel at home to contact our Guests Service or Maitre D and let them know about your food choices, they will gladly will help you to have other food options.

I traveled with my girlfriend it was our first time at this resort was a very good experience the staff very polite and helpful, especially the front desk of the hotel all attentive and friendly, the only bad thing is that we waited till 3 pm for our room, we were attended by Alexandro which treated us incredible, the food is not amazing is good I think they can improve, the shows and the live music in the lobby bar excellent we loved having participated in the karaoke we took a lot of applause haha we hope to return soon and have the same treat and experience happy holidays!

There is no shuttles fro airport to this resort. I called the the resort, they don’t pick up. We have three families in a group. I arrived fist in the afternoon. The taxi agency asked for $60 ( in us dollars) . I know it was only 12 minutes drive from Cancun international airport. So I made a bargain and offered $30. They accepted it. By the way, Uber app doesn’t work in Cancun. I will tell a different story about it.

The best place to stay.
I had a blast.
There’s a lost of things to do , like swimming , going to the beach.
Entertaining staff nice really fun area to go and chilling place . So much fun to play
Everyone is so welcomeing

Booked GR Solaris through a resort member and received a good deal. Trip was for our sons high school graduation and we were joining a larger group for our first visit to GR. First impression was not great, after waiting about a half hour we finally received our room and received a wonderful room facing the back of the resort overlooking the rooftop and a/c units, that’s sarcasm by the way. You would think if you’re trying to recruit new members you might want to give them a decent room with some what of a view. Rooms are average at best, small bathroom and bed was very firm. Food was below average, best we had was the pizza by the pool. Had to take the “sales pitch” tour in order to keep our “deal” we received, 3 hours of my life I will never get back. How many times do you have to say NO before they let you leave? For us that was about 10 times to 2 different people. Other than the mini bar in the room, beer is served on tap so be prepared for that. We took large tumblers to fill. Pool staff is entertaining with activities throughout the day.

Overall, if it weren’t for the family and friends we were with it would have been a disappointment, we made a fun vacation out of it though. Had other issues with staff but too much to get into for this review, will not return to GR Solaris, Cancun.

We are truly sorry for the inconveniences and perceptions you had during your stay. Also thank you for sharing your Solaris experience on TripAdvisor. This helps us know our areas of opportunity so we can provide better services to all of our guests.
On the other hand, the mattresses at the resort are orthopedic; mostly used in hotels especially design to offer a goodnight sleep to all our guests. Please try to consider it depends on the different preference that each person has; however we offer a pillow top to any guest who still finds it hard. We apologize for not informing you about this amenity.
Regarding the perception you had from our in-house department, we like to inform you that we do make an invitation to our guests to join our membership program; we apologize if you felt harassed, it wasn’t our intention. Nevertheless we have talked with the department involved to take immediate action and make the proper adjustments with the concierge’s services towards our guests.
Finally, we regret haven't met your expectations and the perception you got about the service. We listen and care about the experience of our guest, once again we offer you an apology for haven't made your stay memorable.
