We stayed just one night, so I can only say that this hotel is very nice, quiet, has nice common area, is clean and has swimming pool which is good. The staff speaks english. They didnt have the shuttle to the beach club available for some reason when we were there, and they didnt say why, just some problems. That wasnt very professional. There is a bus station though where you can catch a bus to the downtown or straight to the hotel zone and the beach. There is a safe in the room and A/C.

This hotel is clean, safe and well situated. It is in a residential part of Cancun proper, away from the hotel zone. The hotel was very clean, with a/c and cable tv. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of towels. That said, the bathroom was tiny. As in...the size of a closet but adequate nonetheless.

The price was right for an overnight when we were traveling through Cancun. It isn't near any beaches or tourist attraction, but you can take a cab or bus to those areas if you desire. Bus is less than $1 USD and a cab to the airport about 250 pesos,

Room Tip: Get a room in the back, with a window looking at the pool to minimize street noise.

We stayed here 3 nights on our way back from Cuba to U.S.
Extremely well-maintained, well-run hotel. Great lights in room. Everything works! Nice staff!
Perfect if you had a car or want to spend several days learning bus routes.
Wish restaurant was open in evening but "taco" place across street is great; and there is a 7/11 store near-by.
Location is a weakness, except for visiting Isla Mujeres. Getting to & from airport adds significantly to cost of staying "overnight"...$20-25 each way. And...a bit noisy/industrial.
But can't beat price, service, restaurant [when open], people who work there!

We stayed here for 4 nights just after Easter 201 and if I were in Cancun again would have no problem using again.

There was some mix up on our late arrival...having requested 3 twin rooms transpires that hotel doesn't do twins....offered 6 singles instead that we took....these turned out to be 6 doubles that were totally acceptable!

This is quite a small hotel, a bit oddly shaped with 2 buildings - rooms in the main building are on balconies facing into a central courtyard over 3 floors, the secondary building across the other side of the pool again 3 stories, 6 of the rooms facing out to pool with small balconies....if possible suggest one of these rooms requested!

Pool quite small, but just right for sitting by and cooling off, with a hot tub too. Other on-site facilities thin on ground...small restuarant/bar...OK for breakfasts but otherwise seemed little used. Petrol station over the road good for stocking up on snacks and drinks.

Location...initially off-putting next to an intersection with a flyover...actually not too bad at all, though crossing the road is a bit chancey. Not so much in the immediate vicinity, though turn left out of the hotel and about 10 mins down you start to find internet cafes etc. Further down you start hitting the main shopping malls of Downtown Cancun. Turn left down Av Tulum and in half an hour or so walking you can reach the main bus station and a bit further to the square (great for night time promenading and popular food stalls). Lots of restuarants in this area too.

If you're keen to go to the Zona Hotelera...not a problem on a budget...again left out of the hotel and cross the road and you'll see the bus rank....jump on a R1 bus for M$8.50 and you'll be whisked down to the centre...either for nightlife, food, shopping or the amazing beaches. Same route on the way back...and bus stops at the hotel front door!

First couple of days were quite noisy, with kids running around and jumping in and out of the pool....turns out that this was large family group who had been causing a number of problems...as soon as they were gone the whole place was peaceful and pleasant...most guests seeming to leave for the day on trips or to the beach.

Other reviewers have referred to the cleanliness....we would agree...have never seen cleaners go to the trouble of pulling all the furniture out every day to clean behind and under...real attention to detail....have never had a cleaner clean my hairbrush before!

Don't expect lots of extra facilities in your room (no kettle or digital safe in the pool block; main block rooms seemed to have digital safes, table and chairs), though satellite TV and aircon standard, but these were minor niggles that didn't affect our stay and for the price paid not an issue.

Overall a really good find and would recommend.

Room Tip: Poolside with a balcony...gets the morning sun before it hits the pool (though these are next to sta...

If you're not looking to be in the hotel zone, this is a very great hotel for the price. It's immaculately clean. Rooms are on the small side, but hey, you get what you pay for. It is indeed perfect for a quick stop over. I'd definitely stay here again.

Just had one nights stay at Terracaribe, immaculately clean and well maintained hotel ideal for a couple of days or stopover, restaurant was closed but I agree with previous reviewer that the Taco stand over the road is out of this world.
Would use the hotel again if I was in town again.

Stayed here the night of 4th April,2012. Needed reasonable, comfortable, clean, safe hotel with parking prior to our departure from Mexico. Husband enjoyed the pool. Found patio o/s our room could be noisy. Perhaps they should move tables and chairs to pool area instead. Front desk staff pleasant and efficient - even though the hotel did not receive our online reservation!!

Room Tip: request room over pool - maybe quieter than open corridor near breakfast room
