WE found Guidos by accident a few years ago. Looking in from the front door you wouldn't expect much but a sandwich or a slice of pizza. However, what you see is NOT what you get!Their expanded garden dining area is so peaceful , and my wife thinks it's very romantic--who am I to argue with her?? Since we discovered this "hidden jewel", we always make it a dinner stop after a day of shopping.WE really love the bread and the lasagna. The service was very good, and we look forward to our return to our Italian garden in Cozumel.

This is an obligated stop in Cozumel. I have been visiting Cozumel since 1980 and do not miss eating in this amazing restaurant every time. Beautiful ambiance, great service, and great Italian food. They serve the best pizza out of Italy!. My favorite dishes are: Carpaccio di Carne, Lasagna, Pizza Napolitana, and the day specials. Cannot miss the Pastel de Helado (Mango). Appropriate for any occasion, romantic, casual, business, and with friends. Yvonne, the owner, is always on top of things making sure you leave with a big smile and a satisfied appetite. A truly professional on her business. Enjoy and buon appetito!!!!

Guido's is at the top of our list to do whenever we are in the region. Last week we stayed in Puneto Aventuras, but took a cab to Playa del Carmen and then the ferry over to Cozumel just to eat here for lunch. This is probably our 20th visit here in the past 15 years.
Our two kids love the garlic bread and pizza fresh from the brick oven. Their lasagna is better than any we've had in Philly or New York. Their home made desserts are ridiculous: coconut ice cream, really thick and rich chocolate mousse, bread pudding, etc, etc, etc are so good you have to get them even though you are ready to explode.
But the best reason for going is the sangria. I cannot find anything like it anywhere in any country. It is awesome. And they serve it in homemade pottery pitchers. If you go, eat in the back courtyard. No - you cannot see the ocean from there, but it is such a relaxing experience like none you will find anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable to boot. If you are in Cozumel, you MUST eat here

Guido's is great for fresh seafood or Italian. Their lasagne, pizza, and pasta dishes are great. If you like scallops, be sure to check them out here. The fresh seafood dishes are always awesome. Be sure to eat in the garden courtyard.

No trip to Cozumel is complete without a trip to Guido's. The garden setting is beautiful with food to match. When I am not in Cozumel I find myself thinking about the Capresse salad and garlic bread at Guidos...two of my favorite dishes in the world. The Capresse has always been excellent at Guido's and they have made it even better with the addition of green peppers and an olive. The garlic bread is very unique as it is a flatbread that they prepare in their wood fired oven...it is the best.

We enjoy Guidos so much that we ate their twice on our most recent 7 night trip. The prices are on the high-end for Cozumel, but the atmosphere and food certainly justify the cost.
