Description: The French Quarter is a Sports Bar downstairs and fabulous restaurant upstairs with late night entertainment on the weekends. We are under new Ownership and have a brand new menu! Our specialty is Cajun/Creole cooking with a touch of the Deep South! You don't have to go to New Orleans to get an authentic taste of Cajun/Creole cooking! Just drop by and eat under our gorgeous Palapa Roof dining room to the sounds of Cajun Zydeco music! Feel free to dance if you get the urge!In the downstairs Sports Bar we are in the process of adding more satellite receivers and more TV's to make sure we can carry the most sporting events in Cozumel. We are currently able to show every MLB game scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Don't miss a football game! We will have the most football games available all season long!

One of the most unique locations in Cozumel. If you get a craving for Cajun while on the beach....this is THE place. Great owners & staff, prices are reasonable. Only thing missing is the smell of the river.

We went in to watch a football game on December 29th, we had 12 in our group. We all had dinner with drinks, food was awesome, service was quick. Met the owners Dave and Fran, wonderful people, even though he is a Aggie, he's a good one. We stuck around to check out the band, Zoom Trio, they were awesome, danced and drank until the Band finished. We all had a great time and I can't wait to visit again.

To be fair the food here was really good and a nice change up from tons of Mexican food. They also have just about any game on you'd want to see. That was about the end of the good stuff. They make all their food to order so they even tell you on the menu it's going to take a while. So knowing that up front, we're ok with that. What they don't tell you is you won't be able to get your beer or drink refilled...at least without flagging someone down and waiting a while...and when you try to pay the tab, you'll be ignored. It took 35 minutes standing at the bar to pay the bill. After still being ignored, we found the closest change to the bill and left it on the counter. Not sure if they were understaffed this particular day...or if this is the norm, but it was probably the worst service I have even had on Cozumel island ever. The worst part is the owner is on site and does little to help or oversee his staff.

Went there on a sunday afternoon and all the games were playing; it felt like home. The owner is from Sequin Texas and all the customers were from the US.
I started up a conversation with the owner and we talked for about 45 minutes. The owner is a very interesting guy.
Good beer , good food, good atmosphere.
If you go make sure you look for the owner, he will be the guy at the bar with the laptop.

Food was good!! My bf said the atmosphere made him feel like he was "home". Every screen had a football game on. Bartender was attentive. I had a salad which was fresh and good. We also had some chicken/ jalapeño thing w bacon. That was good too. And yes the owner is a likeable guy!! We will def return when we go back to Cozumel
