Had the Chicken Mole. Mole was delicious, chicken was incredibly tender and moist. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place but I was surprised how good the food was.

We had lunch here and really was amazing for an even better price. The staff were really friendly and the food was just unbeatable. This is a must-try restaurant. It is quite hidden away so don't just go for what is on the sea-front.

We had eaten here before and really enjoyed it. The owner came over to our table to make recommendations. The food was tasty and we would definitely eat here again. We did find that the prices were a little high but it is still in the tourist zone.

Got a block off the main street for a cheaper and more authentic lunch. The decor was nice - helpful staff. Ordered drinks and the waiter put chips and salsa on our table. I don't think my drink had any alcohol in it. Fish tacos were great. However, we walked in with a small amount of beer in our bottles and they tried to charge us for ths, and we had to pay for the chips/salsa! Then a 'tax' of about 12 % was applied - in short, lunch cost us $45 US so I knew we could have done better in the main area. Buyer beware!!

This restaurant is located on a side street, and it has someone standing on the corner of the side street and the main street and pass out its business cards to people walking by. That's how we got tricked into going there. (Actually I smelled something suspicious, but my dad fell for it.)

The food is 1/3 more expensive than other restaurants of its caliber, and it charges unreasonable prices for items that other restaurants provide for free, such as chips and salsa. Yes, it charged for chips and salsa, which was just lying on the table. And it charged us TWICE because they refilled the chips. This is the ONLY restaurant during our entire trip that charged for chips and salsa. And they charged $4 USD.

Secondly, they charged $3 USD for a bottle of water. That's even more expensive than the markup in seaside resorts! we knew that we had to pay for water, but we had no idea it was going to be this much, since it was only $2 USD in our nice resort. We were shocked when we found out that it was $3 per bottle, and we had opened two bottles.

Lastly, the aqua fresca (juice mix) was also more expensive than other restaurants: it was 35 pesos, and all other restaurants we had eaten at charged only 20 pesos.

We should have known when we saw the huge "New York T-bone steak" sign hanging in the restaurant that it was going to be a huge tourist trap.

We ordered tacos and waited forever (40 minutes) for the food to arrive. We only had 5 in our party, and we were one of the only two tables there.

As for the quality of the food, it wasn't terrible ---- it was utterly lackluster and mediocre in every sense of the word. I've definitely had better fish taco and chile relleno in LA, which is where I live.

Overall it was the biggest mistake we've made on the entire trip. Honestly I have no idea how this restaurant got such high ratings on Tripadvisor.
