Not overly expensive, clean, in a good location. We came from playa, the ferry ride was a little nausea inducing, but other than that the ride over was fine. The island is gorgeous, and has lots of good local shopping. The hotel is all inclusive ... Dining options aren't off the charts good, our meals were okay. Not too great, but definitely not bad. We got a free upgrade upon arrival which was really nice. Francisco at the pool was my favorite! He gave us WONDERFUL service 3 days in a row. They have a lot if activities to keep you busy and they are friendly and eager to make sure you have a good experience. Make sure you still tip, even though it's all inclusive, these guys deserve it. We will be back for sure!

This is an annual trip for us, so its like coming home when we come back to Cozumel each year. We always enjoy our stay at the Palace and didn't have any complaints about the noise, food, etc. It's what you would expect from the Palace. Great staff, can't ask for better service! The pool is fun and we love, love, love jumping in the ocean and snorkeling. Saw lots of fish and interesting creatures. We like to venture out for dinner and enjoy the restaurants in town. Meeting new people and making new friends. I would recommend the Cozumel Palace to my friends and god willing we plan to be back next year. It is always a relaxing vacation!!

This was my first trip to Cozumel with a planned 5 days of diving and relaxation. The resort is just a short 5 min cab drive from the airport and when you get there we were treated with white glove service from a nice cool towel to whip your face with to a refreshing fruit cocktail to wet your tongue. When we finally got to the room we were pleasantly surprised to find a huge king size bed, mini fridge and liquor bar, hot tub, and a very nice balcony with amazing ocean views complete with hammock. There is also nightly turn down service with little desert left on the coffee table. There are only three restaurants Italian, Mexican, and Sushi with only the Italian restaurant requiring pants to wear. We really liked the Mexican restaurant the best. The breakfast and lunch restaurants were manly buffet style, but they did have a grill for outside eating which took long to get your food. Although this place is all inclusive the adult beverages were not that good so we mostly stuck to the beers.

If you're going for a beach destination this place isn't for you because there isn't a beach at all, but you do have access to the water. Yes, they do have a pool with a swim up bar. We were here for mostly the diving and the dive staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only bad thing was due to high winds the harbor was shut down for three days which shut down the diving.

Over all a great resort with awesome diving. The only improvements I would suggests is better adult beverages and better selection of foods to choose from.

Room Tip: If you want a have a day at the beach try taking the ferry over to Playa and relax at the sister resort Playa Palace. After you get off the ferry the resort is right next door from the terminal.

On our 2-week stay, my wife and I were treated to impeccable first-class service at every turn. This went far beyond a great vacation experience ... it was one of the best vacations ever, having experienced many 5-star facilities around the world. With only 170 rooms, we were treated to unparalleled customer attention at every turn. This is an older resort with somewhat dated furnishings, but meticulous facilities maintenance. Not overly busy when we were there, so always a place to lay back and enjoy the sunshine and warm ocean views. The only areas where we saw room for any improvement were: internet delivery and quality of food, specifically chicken. On the last point, after our first 3 days dining in the various resort restaurants, we eventually stopped ordering any dish containing chicken owing to its consistent lack of flavor and tough, dry texture. Every other menu choice was excellent. Internet service was occasionally disrupted by high volumes of users. Overall, the constant attention to detail, the ever ready willingness to help, and the always smiling and pleasant demeanor of resort staff made this vacation experience one to remember. Highly recommended for couples seeking a more casual and relaxed setting.

Room Tip: Ocean-view jacuzzi suites provide a hammock on the private balcony overlooking the pool areas and stunning Caribbean sunsets.

I stayed at Cozumel Palace with my wife for 7 days. The location is nice. It was a 5 minutes drive from the airport. Our bags were taken to our room right away. Here is the good stuff were observed or did:
1. Our room was an Ocean View and was great. We got to see every sunset, all the cruise ships coming and going as well as people watching. The deck also had a hammock, which was great.
2. The hotel was within walking distance to the shops, multiple restaurant's and excursions.
3. The snorkeling out front of the hotel was good. We also got free snorkel gear every night.
4. The staff from top to bottom were polite, respectful and nice. They were all class acts.
5. The rooms were nice. Enough room, good bed and pillows. Nice bathroom and there is a hot tub that is good.
6. My wife enjoyed the Spa on several days and said every time was great.
Here is the bad stuff we observed or had to deal with:
1. The food was average at best. We were not impressed at all. It all was very blah and not much to choose from. None of the restaurant's impressed us either. Food was just okay. A big letdown was the desserts all week were horrible. They all looked great but when you ate one, it was disgusting.
2. The private couples dinner was not any good either. Some of the courses where just down right bad. The dessert that was served was unreal good but why was everything else bad?
3. There is only 1 pool. There were days you didn't even want to get in because it was packed.
4. There are no hot tubs outside.
5. HERE WAS OUR MAJOR ISSUE! Getting our room cleaned was a challenge ever day. We had bathrobes on the first day and then we never saw them again. 3 days our room was never cleaned even though the door card was out all day. Several days we did not get clean towels and had to reuse wet towels that were left on the floor. Also, several days our refrigerator was not restocked. It was quite an issue that I guess we should have addressed with the front desk.
I think we would stay here again but I would probably eat out instead of at the hotel or go over to Playa Car Palace and try one of their restaurant's. We also rented one of the hotel's jeep and drove around the island. It was 99.00 for 24 hours which was nice. It was also nice that we were able to use our hotel credits to get free excursion's, cab rides and the ferry over to Playa Car Palace.

Room Tip: Make sure to get and Ocean Side room. We were on the 3rd floor and it was great.
