This has it all, Crocodiles, over 250 in their own great big swamps, Lighthouses to climb, beaches to swim in that are clean and safe, ruins to visit and birds to looks for. There's something for everyone and a tram to take you from place to place. Pack a lunch and stay a while.

After taking the eco-tour (nothing spectacular) we went to the beach. The small admission fee is worth it to access a well-maintained and less-crowded beach area. We enjoyed a pure day of relaxation by the calm pristine waters. Lying in one of the many hammocks available and swaying to the breeze--it doesn't get any better than this!

This was our third time visiting this park. Couple of new highlights: hold onto your hat if you go up the lookout tower by the crocks. Mine blew off right after the great park instructor finished telling us about the aggressiveness of these animals and how they can't see well but they can sense movement in the water. Next thing we knew, the crock was chomping on my hat. Thanks to the park instructor, he fished out my hat for me and that hat is more valuable than ever.
Snorkeling was great and then perfect relaxation on the beach. We love this place!!!

Worth the admission fee and the $40 lunch! Go to the beach 3 km past the lighthouse, Parking is close to the changing rooms and the restaurant. Set up your hammock and enjoy the day.
To see a wonderful array of fish and corals, swim out to the red buoy and drift along the reef to the white buoy. . The current is quite strong, so swim to shore on an angle with the current. Walk back to the Shelter by the restaurant. We saw a turtle and small rays, sea urchin, barracuda, and very colourful fish. There is a beautiful "garden" of purple and green fan coral about 2/3 of the way along.. it is Breathtaking.. we had such a nice time we did it again after lunch, Get there early enough to spend the day. everything closes up at 4pm . There are no lifeguards, so swim with a buddy.
