Description: Located oceanside, this restaurant/bar is an entirely outdoor establishment. A covered area offers shelter from the tropical sun or sit on the deck, or with your feet in the sand, or at one of the poolside tables. The pool also features a swim-up bar. There is a full menu of American/Mexican cuisine including burgers, tacos, salads and more. The place is not well known, so rarely crowded, but it is popular with the crews off the cruise ships that call on Cozumel. Staff are friendly the food and drinks are good, but the ability to relax on a beach with full service at a hidden gem is what this place is all about.

This was our first stop in Coz after our cruise ship docked. We were searching for a Geocache located inside the bar which itself is located in the Barracuda Hotel. After a few minutes of looking and finding nothing, one of the staff gave us a hint and we found it right away. Sometimes these GPS coordinates are way off.

After I opened the box, I suggested we all have a beer while I did the Geocache thing. The prices were good and the overall attitude at the bar was friendly and laid back. I could see spending a lot of time here if we weren't limited by the cruise schedule.

We did not eat here but the menu looks good and the atmosphere is great. Give this place a look if you are in the area.

We visit Cozumel for a couple of weeks every spring and, after dinner at one of the island's many fabulous restaurants, we find ourselves most nights having a relaxing nightcap by the pool at the No Name Bar behind the Hotel Barracuda. For first-timers, it's a bit of a treasure hunt -- there's an easy-to-miss sign among storefronts on the street in front of the hotel, but under the "No Name Bar" sign there's a little tunnel to the back and pool area. Find a table either in the sand close to the water, or settle down next to the pool for a relaxing cocktail (or three...). The servers are always so friendly, the atmosphere great for capping off the day -- pop music piped in for some friendly competition with the sound of waves washing against the nearby seawall. It's become a favorite spot. We will be there again (and again) during our future visits to Cozumel.

I was told about this place more than a half dozen years ago by fellow divers. We have had such a great time over the years meeting up here, drinking, eating, playing endless games of drunken Jenga... I have to say that the lovely señoritas who work here have been one of the main draws when I return. They couldn't be more friendly and some have become long time friends. They come and go, but the memories of Betza, Fabiola, Edi and so many more just keep on giving. A quick tip - Cynthia is still here and in her seventh year. Woo hoo!
