We ate there on a Wednesday night for their buy one get one free sandwich. We both had the grilled chicken sandwich. There was a lot of cheese on the sandwich. Other than that, it was a very average sandwich. They did have a lot of different choices on their menu. We thought hard about the pizza, but weren't sure that we wanted to wait the 45 minutes.
There were quite a few people smoking at the bar area so it was hard to find a spot around the restaurant to get away from the smoke (I am really allergic to it.) I also know that the smokers are not the restaurants fault, they were paying customers. We moved tables 3 times, but the staff was very kind and helpful. It is on a quiet street and seemed to have a mix of locals and tourists that ate there.

I have been living in Cozumel part time for nearly 18 years. So i love to find a new restaurant that has a lot to offer for all of my friend's tastes. I am probably the most difficult to please, being vegan, But we were able to satisfy everyone in our group...especially ME! Great atmosphere inside and out. The only thing is that this time of year there are lots of mosquitos....but they even brought us a can of repellant and that saved the day. Later we moved inside and sat at the bar. Great drinks and exceptionally friendly service from every employee AND the owner! Will I go back? You bet I will! Try it for great pizza, pasta, mexican dishes and seafood....

Ohana was a good get away from the normal Mexican food of the island. Their prices were actually cheap compared to others. They had a stage with live music playing. It started raining on us, and the owner(Mat/Matayo) offered to take our big group of 10 inside.

We are frequent visitors to Cozumel and enjoy returning to our favorite places, and trying new ones each visit. Some fellow divers were telling us that this was their new favorite. We have been here a week and were hungry for some American comfort food. They do also have a great selection of Mexican dishes that we will return to try but we wanted to try their Chicago style pizza. We are a fan of Gino's pizza and Matt, the owner who is originally from Chicago, explained that his crust recipe was influenced by his three favorites Gino's being one of them. It was delicious! It takes 45 minutes to prepare and bake but we enjoyed sitting at the bar visiting with Matt and some of his repeat customers. We ordered the bacon wrapped and cream cheese filled shrimp (they also offered lobster prepared the same way) to munch on while we waited. Also delicious! We are her for another week and will be back before we leave. Yum!

We have been here a couple times and it never disappoints. A little off the beaten path but worth the trip. The owners are welcoming and fun. and hands on. Matteo tends the bar. I love bringing family here and meeting old friends. The new pizza is awesome!! Definitely worth the adventure. If you want a local feel this is the place. And great food and feel.
