We have walked by this restaurant for several years and never realized it was open as it seems it only serves lunch and we are usually in this area during the evening. We stumbled in this year, hungry in the middle of the day and finding ourselves at the doorstep ventured in. One of those great happenings to discover by accident a small gem that becomes apart of your experience from that point on. A lovely small garden leads into a well appointed room with maybe 9 tables. On our three visits the restaurant was always full, however you did not feel rushed or did you have to wait long for a table. The days selections are all on view by the kitchen and you make your selection with the chef's help. All meals include a fruit drink (wine is available) , soup, a small salad and garlic bread. The entrees range from lasagna to pasta to veal, prices range from $7.50 to $10. By the end of our stay we were ordering a meal to go after lunch and taking it home to reheat and enjoy for dinner a few hours later. It appears to be a family business, alot of repeat business and a nice rapor between owner and customers.
