This is our 4th time at Casa Mexicana. We love this hotel! The staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful. The place is always spotless - they are cleaning everything constantly. The gourmet breakfast is out of this world and a great way to save money... we only ended up needing to buy dinners because the breakfast was HUGE and we never needed lunch. The value you get for your money is great. Pay the extra couple bucks to have an ocean facing room - VITAL. A/C, Cable TV, Mini Fridge and safe in every room. Only drawbacks are not having an exercise room (but it forces you to get outside to do your workout) and the small, but sufficient pool - this is not the all inclusive swim up bar kind of place... it's relatively quiet, relaxing and mainly has adults (due to the lack of a major pool system). But, that never bothers us... the balconies to the ocean are wonderful, the pool is fine, plus we always rent a car and get out of town to enjoy the beaches each day anyway... really a perfect fit for us. LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!

The breakfast was fabulous, view beautiful, and Jamie's margaritas were to die for. You will love this place! Also, make sure you eat at La Lobsteria, located at 5a. Ave. Sur 7 Sur (just a block away). We ate there twice and loved it!

We booked this hotel after reading tripadvisor reviews and offered a deal through travelocity. We received a "city view" room at around $65 a day. The room was very clean and nice looking. The beds were comfortable and the room was stocked with the necessities. It was very quiet at night which made for a great night sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The hotel is very central to everything in town. Great restraunts and shopping were within walking distance.

Clean, good daily breakfast included, friendly, and located in town. You can walk to dinner and lunch. Drawbacks are it is across the street from the ocean and no real pool. Pool is "swim Spa" in size with no spa.

My husband and my 2 adult kids stayed here for a week. We all agreed it was a great place and would definitely stay here again. The rooms are spacious and the beds nicely firm. The maid service is exceptional, rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with cooked to order omelots, waffles, pancakes, plus there were hot dishes like a stir fried beef, chicken dishes, empanadas, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juices, even carrot juice, yogurt and rolls! It does not have a beach and the pool is very small, we never used it. But the lobby is beautiful and there is a great lounging area that looks out to the water where you can watch the cruise ships. We were on the 3rd floor rooms 319 and 320 and it was quiet. The balcony is large and the rooms have a small refrigerator and the air conditioning worked fine. It was convenient to great shoppiing and eating out. Plus the cabs would line up just across the street and it was easy to get ot a nice beach via cab. We had a great time!
