“Great hotel”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

This is a great hotel for the money, ocean views, complementary real breakfast and special attention for an amazing $900 mexican pesos in high season. A little outdated but clean, comfortable and amazing views with roof top pool.

Stayed eight nights with family and let me tell you, the price cant be beat, the staff is super to your needs and the breakfast is great too. I found a new home.....away from home. We would stay always at the big hotels and pay those big rates... this hotel is comfortable cheap and accomadating. If you stay on the 3rd floor , the only thing I did not like was you hear the chairs hitting the floor for breakfast on the fourth floor every morning....early.this may bother you if you plan on sleeping in after a late night of Tequila. Other then that ,the hotel is very clean. Parked our rental car across the street in a pay lot not to deal with first come first serve parking. Returned late one night and had no parking spot that sucked....looking for parking....when you are on vacation you dont want to deal with that ...but for the price you learn to accept it. Overall it is a good hotel and reasonable. My family really enjoyed themselves and the money we saved we are going on another trip before summer ends.

this is a cost effective hotel, that does not exceed its image should you require a hotel central, to your requirements and needs there are numerous shops gift and dive that provide you with what you would like, transport comes in the vain of local hire, or the more sedate that is horse drawn along the sea front for those romantics safe place , can get busy , hire a boat or take a trip to escape the crowds find the enchanted sea chase the mermaids enjoy. hotel has roof top pool. which also serves breakfast from here, you get a good overview of the harbour and the area cruise ships and the hustle of marine traffic that frequent this, place, even better at night when you , see the illuminated ships that display the upper decks. enjoy the cool breeze from the promenade as you walk along , with music and tacos tequila at your leisure. should enjoy history than perhaps ask for a local guide that will provide you with the information taxi drivers are a good source. check rates always tip for the scuba minded, what a place , pristine reefs and discover the habitats then make this a very important environment for the sea life, see appreciate marvel wonder ,

Room Tip: just be polite and make clear what you require in terms of booking and what your agent has agreed...

I really liked this hotel, we stayed for 6 nights to dive in Cozumel and was really pleased with the staff, location and accommodations. Surprisingly to us, there are lots of overpriced food choices in Cozumel. Having a free breakfast definitely helped, and it was pretty tasty most days. One day we got to select from a small menu. The freshly prepared eggs are really really good, I don't know what it is, but I know I haven't tasted eggs like this from a grocery store in the U.S. There are tiny ants all over the place (mostly the bathroom), but they didn't really bother me. It's my understanding that they can occur in lots of places on the island. We were placed on the 3rd floor initially, but I was honestly a little freaked out by the condition of the mattresses (black spots...?) and was moved to the 2nd floor. The second room was perfect (aside from the little ants). Staff is really nice and polite. The bakery downstairs is pretty good too, they're constantly getting deliveries and the prices are super affordable (well under a dollar mostly). Hotel is located about a block away from the ferry and other touristy areas. I suggest you venture down at least 10 minutes walk away from the tourist areas and find better food. Unless you're into the loud party/family atmosphere. Then stick to the tourist spots. We paid about $50 a night after taxes, and when we went to extend our stay a night, the guy at the front gave us the same rate (the posted rate is higher).

In giving this hotel 5 stars, I'm not claiming that it's a super luxurious place. What I mean is that if you are an independent, budget-minded traveler who has outgrown the hostel scene and wants a bit more space, comfort, and privacy, then this hotel is for you.

The hotel is incredibly well located in the center of town, about a 5-minute walk to the ferry. The rooms are not super fancy but are clean and still have everything you could realistically need (aside from a mini fridge I guess). There's hot water, AC, a TV, wifi, and comfortable beds. The staff are friendly, and it feels people are always out cleaning the common areas.

As everyone else on here has said, what really sets this place apart is a) the rooftop pool and b) the great breakfast included in the price. The pool area was spotless and perfect for lounging. On two out of the three mornings I was there, the breakfast was buffet style, with a number a great hot options plus bread, fruit, coffee, juice, etc. The other morning, there was a menu with a bunch of choices, and they cooked my selection to order. Breakfast is served up by the pool--a great way to start the day.

So to recap: well-maintained facilities, comfortable rooms, great pool, awesome breakfast. Surprisingly affordable (I paid around $40/night though I'm sure the price fluctuates some). If you want to be pampered, go somewhere else, but if you want a solid home base for relaxing and exploring Cozumel, then this is a top choice.

It does exactly what it says on the tin, great price, nice sunbathing pool area and breakfast was lovely. It will not win prizes for most luxurious hotel but the price reflected this and it's very close to the ferry port.

Stayed here for two nights. One at beginning of our trip and one at the end. Place was very clean and staff very nice. Breakfast started at 7am and was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. My only compliant was in one of our rooms an outside light shined into our room until 4am. Our curtains could not block it out. The roof top pool was our favorite. Its just a short walk from the ferry and a quick drive to the airport. Also wifi worked well in our room.
