“Lovely Stay”
Reviewed 25 February 2014 via mobile

The hotel is very close to anything you need. The room we had faced onto the market and the pool and it was very clean. The staff was nothing but fantastic and went above and beyond for us, which was greatly appreciated by my husband and myself. Our room included a mini fridge, hot shower, working A/C, cable. Breakfast was coffee, OJ and sweet bread. The hotel entrance is in the artisan market so you do get a lot of people trying to sell to you, but they're just trying to make an honest living as most people are in Mexico. I would return to this hotel and highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay on a budget.

Also this hotel does not have an elevator.

Clean rooms, friendly personnel. For the price this hotel is a good value. You get a fridge, hot shower, working A/C, cable (should you choose to turn on the TV) a pool, and breakfast (coffee, OJ and bread) all of this less than 2 blocks from where the ferry docks.
The down side is that every time you walk in or out of the hotels front door you have to walk through a gauntlet of the little "artisan" stands- people desperately trying to sell you on there goods, bribe you into their stores or push their knickknacks on you- it gets old real quick.
That aside this place is peachy!

Nice small clean hotel very close to the city center. Some rooms have balcony, some not but you can use terrace with the swimming pool instead. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no restaurant in the hotel, breakfast are served directly to the rooms, but the choice was very limited - only sweet pastry was on the menu and if you want a tea instead of a coffee, it smells after coffee anyway (because of using same flasks). However, renting a room here was a good deal and worthy.

Love this little boutique hotel! Mai, at the reception desk, is so sweet and helpful. She will make phone calls to inquire about activities, dinner reservations, etc. which is particularly helpful if your Spanish is a little rusty. Beautiful oceanfront, king room with frig. Very, very clean, beautiful towels, lovely pebble tiled shower with plenty of hot water. The only negative, which was easily remedied, was the pillows are very flat--we just requested extra pillows and the problem was solved. Beds are firm but quite comfortable! Only bottled water can be consumed here. Lovely balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee, juices, and sweet rolls brought to the room daily. Just tell reception the night before what time you want coffee delivered and they brought it right on the dot! Very reliable WiFi in room. We never used the pool except to sit by it one morning while enjoying our coffee and one evening while having a night cap. We had a rental car for the week and there was a free public parking lot around the corner. This hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars, shopping. A very good value and charming place to stay! We will definitely return! I love this place!

Room Tip: We had a oceanfront, king room--the drawback is that all oceanfront rooms overlook a very busy stree...

Very clean rooms and overall. Staff is not in a hurry, but not rude. They just run on island time =) I paid about $70 per night fo an ocean front king size room. The sunsets from here are amazing! Continental breakfast is included, nice little perk. Also had a very mini fridge in the room... great for a six pack! Close to shopping, restaurants and the ferry.
I'm staying here again in October, so that's how much I like everything about this place!

Room Tip: Pay for the ocean view!!!

This was our second time staying in this hotel and it was not a disappointment. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is right in town and close to everything. Taxis are always just outside making it easy to get around if you don't rent a car. The main square is only a few blocks away for great shopping. The morning coffee and sweet rolls were just enough for us to get our days started. The grocery store and Starbucks is also within walking distance if you wanted something else. There is also a small refrigerator in the rooms. We love eating at local restaurants instead of the tourist places and found a few that we loved. El Pique, Chilango's and Las Seras were all very good and where you can find the locals out for dinner. All in all, the hotel was a great choice again. We got an ocean view room and it really is worth the extra few dollars. The ocean view rooms have balconies for relaxing and just enjoying the view. We even kept our balcony door open at night and noise was not an issue at all. All in all, it was a great experience and we will stay here again.

Room Tip: Definitely pay the extra money for an ocean view room. It is really worth it since you get a balcon...
