We visited the plaza after a tour on the island while waiting for the ferry on the San Miguel pier. This is the stop for the cruise ships so beware of huge early afternoon crowds as 2 or 3 a day come through the port. We were constantly pitched for sales at just about every shop. I understand they have to make a living, but enough is enough some times. We stopped at a few places, jewelry was similar to US prices, just no tax but so are many internet sites so I am not very impressed with this. There was a Cariloha there which has cool bamboo clothing and sheets, but once again they can be purchased online.
After an hour of walking we decided to stop at Fat Tuesday and have a drink and apps which were good. The smallest Hard Rock is right around the corner but seating and a view is almost impossible.
Tip: The ferry terminal has bathrooms right at the entrance if you need to find a clean one
