Five of us stayed in Gladys' in July of 2007. We stayed in the large unit upstairs. At that time there was 1 King, 1 double, and 1 day bed in the unit. Gladys said the King could be removed and replaced with 2 twins. She was so much help. We were suppose to arrive the day after the hurricane went through the Yucatan. She kept us updated on the conditions on the Isla during the storm. We loved apartment. It was great to have a kitchen to cook a few meals to save money. The living area is large, with day bed, love seat, coffee table and large dining table.
The kitchen is fully stock with pots, pans and everything you might need. The only problem was there is no hot water in the kitchen. We had to bring hot water from the bathroom to wash dishes, no big deal. We loved the roof top patio. We had a wonderful dinner up there. The room was clean and a house keeper came in daily. Another big plus was bottled water is provided.
I would have recommended these apartments to my own clients and would stay there again!
