If you are looking for a small, clean, quiet and affordable hotel to stay in that has all the local charm, Hotel Xbulu-Ha is the one for you. It is located right off the main street and convenient to walk to the beaches, shopping and restaurants.

We have stayed there several years and always enjoy returning.

My husband and I stayed here for three days. This is our second time in Isla mujeres and had just returned from a fast pace resort so we figured we'd slow things down in Isla mujeres.

Xbulu - ha is great and economical as long as you are not stuck on lavishness . The service here is great. The attendant and housecleaner are very polite. It is close to EVERYTHING !!! But but at the same time there is enough space from things were you are not bothered by street noise! Had had no complaints about my room or anything in it! I would definitely stay again!!!

My family of 3 spent 5 days in February at this nice, little, clean, good value hotel. We had stayed here once before. Although the rooms are small and simple, they have everything you need when you will be spending most of your time outside. The cleaning lady kept the rooms and common areas nice and clean. The manager, Juan, was always available to help with anything and answer any questions. The use of backpack beach chairs is a great plus. Only suggestions would be to provide drinking water and to make the roof usable for lounging, sunbathing etc.

Thanks for your review. The hotel has standard rooms, which are the smallest, but also there are deluxe rooms with 2 double beds and suites with kingsize bed.

I have stayed at Xbulu-Ha many times and it just keeps getting better..... And I would have not thought that possible even after the first time.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and include nice tvs, fridge, safe and spacious bathroom counters. When traveling alone, I stay in a single room and its just perfect! When traveling with my husband, we stay in either the JR suite which includes a king bed, very comfortable swivel rocking chair, kitchen with fridge, microwave, breakfast bar with stools and a bath - again, I love that all the rooms have a nice vanity area. The larger suite downstairs has all of the amenities of the Jr suite plus a nice table and chairs, futon, full kitchen with a 2 burner stove and a large bathroom. With two sinks and nice closet.

The staff are second to none. Angelica keeps the room spotless, is always so friendly and greets me like a long lost friend each time I visit. Juan Carlos is just as friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need or want.

There is also a nice community room next to the office with toaster, microwave,Moab,e and chairs, etc. it's a good place to gather with fellow guests.

The location is perfect within easy walking distance to everything! Gabriel ALWAYS goes above and beyond, he is always doing something to improve the guests experience. I'm excited for the completion of the third floor rooms!

I've never stayed anywhere else, in all my travels that I have felt so welcomed, comfortable and completely loyal to. Ill be going back as often as I can! Oh, and the price cannot be beat! Great, clean accommodations with friendly staff and a great price. What else could you ask for?

Room Tip: Room 1 upstairs is "my" room when traveling alone. Any of the suites on the second floor a...

Very good value and great location, near to one of the best beaches and also close to the ferry. The room was exceptionally clean and was well equipped, tv, ac safe ect and everything functioning perfectly, the fridge was also very useful to keep things for a quick breakfast.

Nice clean tiny hotel. Location was great: central, but not too close to the main street, so it's not too loud. Staff very kind and helpful. Angelica was super nice with us! Will certainly stay here again.

I spent 3 nights a Xbulu-ha, would have stayed longer but they were full and I can definitely understand why! The room was spacious and very clean. Everything I needed was within walking distance. And the room rates are better than reasonable. Highly recommend staying here!
