Great hotel located right next to the beach, sand and water. From your room to the beach is only a few steps away. Great for those who enjoy relaxing on the beach during the day so you can walk back to your room to refresh and go back to your beach lounger.
The hotel has two buildings, the main one contains two floors plus some "Cabanas", well built up and surrounded by a garden and by a swimming pool. Very quiet area.
The second building is right opposite the main entrance of the hotel, across the quiet road. This one is newer, modern, very bright, spacious, clean. It's usually a bit more expensive but worth paying more. Very private, with balconies, spacious rooms.
The rooms contain TV (Mexican TV, USA channels), A/C with remote control, big spacious comfortable beds. Locker safe (free), spacious wardrobe to keep suitcase and clothes. Clean bathrooms.
Hotel offers free light bfast (one cuppa coffee, one orange juice, two toasts, butter and jam). Bfast is served at the beach bar located right next to the hotel, amazing morning views of the Caribbean waters while you sip your coffee. Bfast menu also available if you are still hungry.
Simple, clean, modern compared to other hotels in the Island, bright and few steps away from the beach. You can't get anything better than this!

Room Tip: Rooms in the new building (Castle) are brighter, bigger

Our room was perfectly located about 50 yards from the beach. The facilities are nothing fancy but the architecture is quaint and they have large complimentary water coolers for you to use so you don't have to buy bottled water all the time.
We went in October and mosquitos were a bit of an issue so bring repellent if you're going during high mosquito season.

the moment we arrived there bad experience started, no one to greet you had to ring the bell, no polite greeting. they take forever to check you in. then you get hit with a $150 deposit for the tv remote control, ac control, safe key and room key. you get charged if you want to use the outside shower to wash off the sand $10 pesos every time! facilities are very outdated. I will never stay there again. I'll make sure all my family and friends know.

Room Tip: do not stay there, down the street are better hotels ocean view and much nicer

This hotel is in such a great location that it's practically on Playa Norte – in fact the white sands start inside the hotel grounds. All rooms either have their own balconies or access to communal terraces with seats – it just depends on you preference and budget. Some rooms are around the pool whilst others are almost on the beach.

It's definitely family-friendly as the beach is very clean with white sand with palm trees and the sea is shallow for a long way out and is pale blue crystal clear sea where you can swim amongst the fish and pelicans!

You do get boats with small parties enjoying the swimming and drinking with music on PAs but this never seemed overly intrusive, rowdy or drunken but just added to the ambience. This isn't some exclusive desert island idyll, it is accessible to everyone and you'll soon come to realise that this is just part of the Mexican way of allowing everyone to have the freedom to enjoy the beaches. That said the hotel grounds are secure at night with access from the beach closed and only accessible through the reception.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk away from the pedestrianised street Miguel Hidalgo along which there are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops to suit piratically every taste. You'll need a taxi to the nearest ferry terminal (the pedestrian ferry) but again it's just 5 minutes away.

This is definitely a good choice for a relaxed holiday location.

Great place to stay on North Beach and walking distance to town. Free breakfast. Rooms were clean and good size. Tiki bar and restaurant. Food was really good and reasonable. Wished shower had better water pressure. Staff was helpful and friendly.
