Casa Rosa welcomes you with beautiful views of the ocean and comfortable accommodations. If you are a couple, the studio apartment will offer everything you will need to prepare a small meal, relax around the pool or spend time on your balcony. It is located near good restaurants and a large supermarket. The apartment is well-equipped and well-maintained. We were very pleased that Mike and Rose, the owners of Casa Rosa, were in the downstairs, two-bedroom apartment, during our stay. They were wonderful, warm and gracious hosts. We hope to remain in touch with them.

“We will be back”

My family and I spent the week of Christmas 2014 at Casa Rosa. We rented the entire house as there were 3 couple. It was amazing. It was easy to find with a short cab ride from the ferry docks. I think about $5 US. We also rented a golf cart to get around and ended up renting a moped too. The police were very watchful to make sure we only has 4 people in our cart so we had to go with a moped too. And to be honest it was much more fun on the scooter.
Case Rosa is exactly like the pictures on this and other sites. It has a beautiful ocean view and is very quiet at the back of the house. The water is not good for swimming but we spent hours on the shore looking for shells and seal glass. And the North Beach is 5 minutes away if you want to swim.
Every morning a young man would come by to sell us fresh fruit juice. We tried them all over the course of the week. If he did not have a certain kind he would make sure to bring it the next day.
The owner's rep was very gracious and stopped by to show us around. The kitchen was well equipped and many a meal we cooked at home. The grocery store is just down the street and they carry everything you need.
There are plenty of towels, both beach and bath, lots of extra blankets and pillows and bottled water. If you run out of water all you have to do is set the empty jugs at the curb and they are replaced with fresh ones. So easy.
Around the corner is a small cafe called Mango's. We ate breakfast ether many days. It was so good.
We will not hesitate to stay at Casa Rosa again!

“Exactly what we expected - Perfect Stay”
Reviewed 8 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

When you book a place to stay online, you never really know what to expect upon arrival. We were pleasantly surprised that the rental was exactly what we expected, and we couldn't have been happier with it. There were absolutely no complaints from our family. We rented both the top and the bottom, and it worked out perfectly. I could see it being a potential issue if you only rented one of the two (if the people in the opposite were loud), but we didn't have a problem at all! I loved the view, and the outside. I think the pictures they posted don't do it justice. It is literally RIGHT on the beach, and it's beautiful. I loved the air conditioned bedrooms, made it much easier to sleep at night. It is centrally located, which I loved, right in the middle of the island. Close enough to the downtown (not really walking distance unless you really love to walk), but yet close also to the other side of the island with snorkeling and nice restaurants.

There are many iguanas in the yard, which I loved to see every morning. You will find this everywhere on the island.

I would highly suggest renting here. Everything was great. We had an unbelievable vacation.

We have stayed at Casa Rosa for a total of 4 times, 5 including our up coming trip this week. We LOVE it! Close to town without the congestion. Markets near by...Clean, SAFE.
The view is top notch while having a drink and relaxing at the pool~ not a lot of noise.
A lot of room to spread out in downstairs, and plenty kitchen space. Great place!

“Great place to get away!”

We spent 12 relaxing days in the Casa Rosa studio and enjoyed every minute. The apartment was spotless and has a kitchenette stocked with everything needed for casual meal prep. There is a friendly young man that comes daily with fresh juice delivery that we looked forward to every morning.

The view of the ocean is incredible and there are outdoor spaces offering both sun and shade. We spent hours on the balcony, just reading, relaxing and gazing at the beautiful water. The house's location, at the end of the airport road, is convenient walking distance to several restaurants and shops, and taxis pass by often for a ride into Centro.

We hated to leave our slice of paradise and hope to be back again soon!

We rented both the upstairs and downstairs at Casa Rosa last week with friends and I can honestly tell you we couldn't find a thing to complain about! The mid-island location is perfect and being right on the Caribbean was a lovely spot. Gorgeous views and every amenity you can ask for make this a rental property to return to time and again. The owners, Mike and Rose, were very easy to work with, quick to respond when we had questions before our trip and have obviously put a lot of thought into what makes for a comfortable stay.

The house is right next door to Da Luisa which became our bar run on a daily basis. Nachos and guacamole to go along with a few margaritas in plastic cups and we headed back to our private pool and beachfront, set for the afternoon.

The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need if you plan to cook in but with all the fabulous restaurants here, we didn't do more than the aforementioned lunches and heating up a few Chedraui pastries in the morning. The blender, however, did get a good workout! Leave the front door open in the morning and a guy will show up on his scooter peddling fresh juices. Orange, Pina, Grapefruit, and one day--beet and chaya were offered. A little higher priced than you can buy in the local stores but, hey...delivered to your front door!!!

There were plenty of towels, pool floats, lounge chairs, etc. Air-conditioning in the bedrooms but i think we only turned it on once when it was a bit still and humid one day. The upstairs studio apartment is darling and has fabulous views. There's a rooftop deck, but aside from checking it out, there was no need to use it as we had fabulous views from the ground floor patio. Beds are a bit hard--typical Mexico style but not really a complaint as much as an observation.

Drew, the property manager, stopped by regularly to make sure we were ok and the pool cleaners and the housekeepers (who came every three days) were terrrific! We absolutely LOVED our stay at Casa Rosa! I can't think of anything that would improve this rental!

“Casa Rosa is a place you will return to year after year.”

I have stayed at Casa Rosa for a week at a time three times in the last several years. I loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks outside the window. On my first visit, we filled the house with 5 friends downstairs and a couple in the upstairs apartment and it did not feel crowded. The kitchen and bath feel up to date, yet very Mexico. I was as comfortable here as I have been in a mucho star hotel, though at Casa Rosa you feel like you can settle in and be at home.
A typical day: We bought fresh squeezed orange juice from a young man who rode past our front door on a bicycle. We picked up freshly made tortillas from a little shop a few minutes up the street and made a wonderful breakfast. Then, some of us collected shells on the beach out the back door, while the others pulled up lounge chairs around the pool or on the deck and read and soaked up the sun. One of our group took a walk downtown (about 15 minutes) and back every morning before the rest of us got up. Then we discovered some great snorkeling on the other side of the island- just a quick golf cart ride (or cheap cap ride away). At the end of the day, we took a cab downtown and browsed the shops for a little while before dinner. There are many great restaurants in Isla Mujeres, but our favorite place was a homey spot near the ferry where they had plastic picnic tables along the water and the feel of sand in your toes was the best decor of all and the menu was just the freshest fish (and great quacamole, and cerviche).
I can't wait to go back - and I know it will be soon.
