“Best B & B on Isla Mujeres!”
Reviewed 30 October 2012

I cannot say enough about this wonderful place. Immaculate, peaceful, fun, beautiful. Owner Steve is hands on, provides a map of the island with tips for places to go, restaurants and shops. He knows everyone and gives good advice. He hosts a happy hour on the roof deck which is not to be missed. You can mingle or be private as you wish. View of the entire island from the roof deck, short walk to beaches, cheap taxi ride to the southern tip. You can book all 6 rooms if you want to bring children, otherwise it's adults only. No TV, unplugged, blissful oasis - but Wifi in the courtyard if you have to check online. Amazing breakfast, lovely staff, beautiful place. We will be back soon.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful and have AC; only one does not have a balcony.

Casa Sirena was perfect for our needs. Location, accomodations, breakfasts and wonderful people we met all made for a great stay there. Although we did not end up using the nice outdoor sitting area in our room (#1) I really liked the larger bathroom. Thank you Steve for your help with various requests and for introducing us to several of your friends :) Congratulations on Casa Sirena's upcoming anniversary!

The hotel is lovely, with great breakfast (different menu every day) and just 3 minutes walk from the ferry. We stayed there 2 nights in a beautiful room (#4). It included happy hour on the roof at sunset which was really fun so we could get to know the other guests and most important, get to know Steve the owner which was the best! Thank you! We hope to come back on our anniversary :)

I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Sirena for one fantasic weekend in September. After a week long visit to Merida, Yucatan my friend Le (he has stayed there on several occasions), recommended I spend my last weekend in Mexico at Casa Sirena. He said that Casa Sirena would be a fabulous place to stay. He was right - it was fabulous! Innkeeper Steve was out of town, but the sub innkeepers, Steve and Dennis, were great hosts. The authenic Mexican breakfast was wonderful, and happy hour on the beautiful rooftop deck was so much fun. Sunsets on the rooftop deck were truly amazing, with views of the both the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. I really enjoyed the intimacy of this boutique hotel; I felt as if we were guests in someone's private home. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. I cannot wait until my next visit. If you are looking for a great place to stay on the island, I highly recommend Casa Sirena, and tell them Bettye sent you!!

Casa Sirena was everything I had hoped for after reading the wonderful reviews. The hotel itself is beautiful and IMMACULATE. The decor is perfect, and we couldn't wait each morning for the delicious breakfasts. The icing on the cake were the innkeepers. Steve was leaving for a much needed vacation when we arrived so Jean and Becky took over. All 3 were amazing and went out of their way to pamper each guest. The "sunset for funset" happy hours are sooo much fun! I loved the location since we could walk anywhere downtown but still sit on our patio and enjoy the ocean. We stayed in room 6 and loved it! Just keep spoiling your guests, Steve, and you should have no problem staying numero uno!

Casa Sirena isn't just a boutique hotel, it is a place to meet lasting friends, to relax, to have a scrumptious authentic mexican breakfast and a wonderful evening happy hour to share the events of the day. I will be back to Isla Mujeres and would not even think of another place to stay! Thank-you Innkeeper Steve for your great hospitality.

Room Tip: Any of the 6 rooms are charming and comfortable

Casa Sirena is wonderful. It is clean, comfortable and beautiful. Steve, the owner, is wonderful. The breakfast is amazing, happy hour is fun, and the desks and plunge pools are perfect. I would recommend going back - I certainly will!
