We can't say enough about what an amazing time we had during our stay en la Isla Mujeres at Casa Sirena! Steve and his staff were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond our expectations. Tucked away off a side street only a couple blocks from the Ferry Dock is Casa Sirena. Steve greeted us in the pouring rain when we arrived and said we truly 'made an entrance,'; but he greeted us with a smile and dos 'Sol' cervezas in hand and our vacation officially began. Our room was wonderful - equipped with a spacious refrigorator, hair dryer, bath robes and there is even an Ipod deck station! There's even fresh water on each floor right outside the rooms, so we never went thirsty. The location is perfect - we were only a couple blocks from all the restaurants and bars and we can't say enough about how DELICIOUS the cuisine is in Isla Mujeres!! Every day/night we found another restaurant which we loved and we can't wait to return to Isla Mujeres and try MORE of the restaurants! Oh and TRY ALL OF STEVE'S suggestions - from restaurants, places for drinks, scenic sites, etc. His guide was right on the money! :-) Happy hours at Casa Sirena each night at 6pm on the rooftop was a great way to start the evening! and the breakfast at Casa Sireana - AMAZING!!! Every morning there was a new entree and were homeade. We will venture back to Casa Sirena every year for as long as possible. It's truly a hidden jewel - one of Mexico's best kept secret. Ole!
