This is an incredible resort that I would recommend to anyone. The food was excellent, there was a large variety of activities both at the resort and nearby around the island that the resort will book for you, and the staff was incredible. We felt welcome from the first minute we arrived. Mario, Rosa, Wilma, Daniel, Leo, Mattias, and all the rest of the staff deserve recognition for the excellent service. This resort would easily be our #1 choice for a return visit to the island.

Excellent Resort! Staff just wonderful and so friendly! We felt so well taken care of from the minute we stepped foot on the property till our departure seven days later. This resort goes beyond expectations. Our room overlooked the ocean - so heavenly. One small disappointment was that the dinner menu did not have a vegetarian option for each course and vegetarian items they did have relied on pasta. We had to ask for greens and more vegetables. This was a small complaint. We will be returning to the real palace of Mexico - Isla Mujeres Palace.

Room Tip: We had an ocean view. Even though an 'ocean view' meant being at close promity to a loud be...

The staff at the palace did an amazing job of making us feel at home. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was wonderful. The staff works hard to maintain a very clean resort. They also did a great job at keeping us entertained with Leo the activities director. If you are looking to get away from reality and relax, this is the place to go to. We will definitely be coming back one day.

Room Tip: We went with the concierge room and had a beautiful second floor room with a beach view.

Staff is very welcoming. Rooms are very clean and stocked daily with non - alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Beach dinners are available. Overall, it is a relaxing resort and ideal for honeymooners.

If you do not mind flying into Cancun's airport, taking a taxi to one of the 3 piers about 25 minutes north of the airport, then taking your luggage on a ferry for a 20-25 minute ride (make sure you get on the high speed boat or it could take you 1 hour) then take your luggage off the ferry, hail a taxi and take a 7 minute ride to the resort, then this is for you.

I am a travel agent who travels a lot to review resorts and forge relationships with the staff for my clients, so I am comparing this resort to other 4 star resorts on the mainland.

Rooms, beautiful! All rooms as with other Palace properties are Jacuzzi Jr Suites, view are nice (see pic), staff pleasant, beach very nice and quiet pool area with swim up pool bar. My biggest complaint has to be only ONE restaurant. The buffet lunch I have to say left a lot to be desired. At 1 PM the food they did have out was dryed out, over cooked and actually cold. We were the only ones eating since this resort only has only 60 rooms and ws told it was 40% occupied. Adult only is nice, but the music from next door can be loud, best to join in (pay a fee) and party.

This is not typical of other Palace Resorts, so do not expect the array of food choices. I know this only has 60 rooms, but one ala carte choice in the evening in addition to the main one would be nice for variety, I think 3 or 4 nights is plenty of time on this quaint mini island.

Fun day trip from mainland Palace just to check it out.

Room Tip: Top floor AWAY from nighttime bands next door.

The Isla Mujeures Palace is part of the Palace Resorts chain of hotels and boasts all of the characteristics of this quality group of hotels. Smaller than the other hotels in the chain it only has 60 rooms but that makes it even more special and its beachfront location and friendly staff make it a definite destination to return to.

We just got back from a 12 day Isla Mujeres Palace vacation!
If you are a couple who love a tropical -peaceful- gorgeous resort vacation with great food and drinks - then you should check this place out! We are Palace members and this was our first time here . We will be coming back ! It is a tropical paradise! There are lots of cool excursions to take to keep you busy - but if you just like to relax by the gorgeous pool or lay under a palapa at the beach or lie in a hammock under the palm trees - while listening to great current (not too loud) music and drinking awesome drinks- eating awesome food then this is the place!! Lots of honeymooners and older romantics like us- made some wonderful friends and just had a wonderful vacation!!!! Highly recommend!
