There was always something happening here. Sundays are a great time as there is always live music and dancing. A nice place to walk around

“Relaxed, peaceful, tropical stmosphere. setting on bench and watch people and builidings”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

The plaza is full of trees and people sitting on the benches, talking. Take a casual stroll around the plaza. Plaza is surrounded wih many historical architectures. The most prominent of these is the Cathedral which is located on east side of Plaza. Next to the Cathedral is the old bishop's palace, now city's contemporary art museum. Sout side of plaza is Palacio Montejo. Palace Municipal (City Hall) is located on west side. Green coloured building is Palace Government on north side of plaza. Have a nice breeze at night in the plaza having drinks or dinner.
