One of the traditional hotels of Merida, is in a cluster very close to Paseo Montejo next to the Holiday Inn, the Intercontinental and the Fiesta Americana hotels

With very easy access the hotel is mainly aimed at the business traveler, there is an executive club in the 17 floor that serves refreshments in the evenings and breakfasts in the mornings to those who stay with certain tariff.

The restaurants in the hotel are of very good quality and the attention of the staff is very good. The rooms are spacious and have a well-equipped gym as well as an outdoor pool on one of the hotel's roofs.

Is just one block from the US Consulate and some bus routes go through the side street of the hotel.

The lobby is luxurious. Check-in was fast and professional. Large area around pool to sunbathe. The room was large and amenities excellent. I had a king size bed and large sofa. There are a number of restaurants within 3 blocks if you do not want to use hotel's.There is a WalMart three blocks away. Buses or taxis to Centro are plentiful.I had a basket of fresh and free pastries as well. Negatives were there were two small bottles of water free. The 1.5 liter bottle of water was almost 2 $..If a hotel like Hyatt finds it cheaper not to filter the water, they should at least provide free agua. The prices of the mini bar are reasonable for candy bars etc. The other negative: free slow wi-fi (2MB.). If you still want slow wi-fi at 4 MB, it will cost you about $7.50 per day! At home I get 100 MB for $40 a month from Charter. Get the 2 wi-fi and complain. Maybe the outrageous chharge will disappear.I would still highly recommend the hotel.I would also recommend that hotel key should be essential to use elevator.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the quality of both the facilities and the service of the staff. The location is great and within walking distance of some terrific restaurants and good shopping areas. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the business traveler.

The hotel is recently renovated and look nice... but I was stolen so for me is a no-go, not ok, bad review. They said they will give me an answer in 48 hours and now is 5 days. Someone in my room stole some necklaces that my boyfriend gave me with a high personal value. Im very disappointed.

The room was smelly. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was old and stained. All the noise from the hallway get in the room. The staff on the other hand was great. I probably wouln't stay here again..
