Staying at this hotel was a pleasure. The entire staff was wonderful, but Raul in particular deserves a special mention. He very patiently helped me practice my Spanish and was always friendly and attentive despite working very long hours.
The food here is delicious. The first day I asked for horchata and was told they didn’t have any... but then magically the next day, lovely cool glasses of horchata were available at all times.
Our room and the grounds were also beautiful. The air always smells like flowers and soft music plays in the courtyard and pool area. Casa Azul was a serene and tranquil home base for our Mérida adventures.More
