My Isla Mujeres Sister and I spent two nights at the Hacienda November 2013 during our visit to Merida. The experience was beyond words. From the moment we arrived we felt a bit like royalty. The staff were friendly and very helpful.Christina was warm, caring and very professional. Our master suite was so unxpected, it was bigger than my Isla apartment. We had our own jacuzzi on our deck and about 10 steps away was the pool. The Hacienda including the grounds were like stepping back into time. Casa de Piedra showcased an original menu with a Caribbean flare.
Although the Hacienda is a bit out of Merida it was easily accessible. I highly recommend a visit if not to stay definitly for a 5* meal and to take in the feeling of the Hacienda.
Fond memories we take away with us.
