My friend and I stayed in late July and we loved the Hacienda Merida. We stayed in an executive room which faced directly on to the pool. We were able to step right out onto our own patio with hammocks, from which we could step into the pool, which was beautiful. The courtyard is very peaceful and calm. The bathroom was particularly nice - almost Moroccan style.
The staff were very accommodating especially when we arrived very late on the first night - they kindly ordered us pizza in as it would not have been easy to find food.
I also had a massage which was very nice - in a kind of outbuilding!
Would thoroughly recommend.

Room Tip: Executive room v nice - ask for the one stepping out onto the pool.

The French Touch, The Moroccan Charm, The Mexican Colors.
I Can't Forget The Ceiling Of My Room So High.

The Hotel Is Located In The City Center and so is perfect if you want to visit MErida and do small trips to the country and Uxmal.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance of this fantastic town that is Merida.
The personnel were helpful, lending umbrellas, giving suggestions for restaurants, being all the time very polite.
The rooms are good, as well as the bathroom. Nice shower and the bathrobes are a nice touch. The bed was superb, we slept like in heaven.
Good breakfast with all you need.
All in all, very nice hotel, that I recommend without any doubt.

Stayed at Hotel Hacienda Merida while we were in Merida visiting Chichen Itza, Uxmal and Celestun.

The hotel is in the historic area of Merida, only a few blocks from the Zocalo. The hotel staff was lovely, and very helpful. The hotel is nice with a central courtyard with a pool. We did notice a few details, the room had cobwebs, the room's door lock was difficult to open (we had to get staff to help). Enjoyed our breakfast by the pool. When we return to Merida, we may try a different hotel.

Quiet, intimate, and a real oasis.
The room was spacious, the air conditioning a welcome reprieve from the heat after a long day, and the wi-fi made it possible to catch up on work in my room or poolside. The staff is amazing, they cannot do enough for you, from arranging a massage, to making an early breakfast, to greeting you at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a quiet place to recharge and relax, this is it.

I was fortunate to have stayed at the beautiful Hotel Hacienda last week while on a business trip in Merida. The hotel is elegant and charming with a friendly staff that was quite accommodating (providing a very early breakfast on departure day).
I found the room to be comfortable (decent bed, good AC and working WiFi) and the bathroom had a large shower head.
The 19th century architecture, artwork on the walls and welcoming swimming pool providing a relaxing ambiance. I even had time for a massage which the staff arranged and it was great!
The Hotel was within walking distance of the Plaza, shopping and restaurants.
My one suggestion would be to add one English language news channel to the cable system but that is a minor quibble to what was an outstanding stay. All in all, a great experience!

Room Tip: I noticed the room near the pool had a hammock. That might be a nice choice.
