Our family with two small kids loved the hotel and the pool. The breakfast is also much better value than any other place in town.

The pool is 1.60m deep, so best for kids that can already swim. Location is excellent, very near the town square. Parking is available.

Small boutique hotel. Just a short walk to main square. Young staff very friendly and helpful whether with luggage, restaurant suggestions, offering drinks hot and cold. Good English.
Room very nicely appointed - bed very comfortable. Swimming pool very pleasant at the end of a hot day.
No fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in room but staff always happy to make a drink or keep your water bottles in their fridge.
Good Wi-Fi in rooms and reception.
Breakfast was a little confusing as the waiter then did not speak good English and it was difficult to understand what was included in the tariff and what was extra. However as we did not choose any cooked food, there was no extra charge.
Excellent hotel to use as a base for the area and Merida itself which is a very nice and safe town to visit in the evening.

We thought this small but well appointed hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. It was in a great location, only about a 10 minute walk to all of the action that Merida has to offer. We had the best nights sleep of our entire two week trip - the bed was incredibly comfortable and the air conditioning was a nice reprieve from the 35 degree heat with 90% humidity. Our room had the most amazing marble bathroom with a large window beside the walk-in shower that faced a private green space - with a rain head shower nozzle - it was beautiful. We had the best nights sleep of our entire two week trip at this lovely little hotel. The pool was clean and cool and was a nice little break in the afternoon after we had walked around Merida in the heat of the day - they make a mean margarita! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We had one of the back rooms facing the lot that separated the two hotels. It was very quiet.

We spent three nights here in May, using it as a base to visit some local Mayan sites. The hotel was very special. Nothing to look at from the entrance but once inside it opens out onto a lovely cloistered pool, ideal for a dip after some sight seeing. It is very intimate with only 8 rooms, but it never felt too enclosed. The rooms were well presented with free wi-fi, my only problem was a very cool shower, but some might like that in the heat of Merida. The staff were courteous and friendly, giving tips on where to eat from the local restuarants. Breakfast is the only meal served here it was simple but adequate, but there is a bar for pre or post dinner drinks, or just a cold beer around the pool. Cannot praise this hotel enough!

I chose this hotel for the good reviews, location and beautiful design. My husband and I were very impressed upon arrival as the place was exactly as described!

I had requested room 3 since it was recommended by other guests and the hotel accommodated. There was also an issue with our flight and the fee was better through Travelocity than Expedia, causing me to change my reservation. The hotel was extremely accommodating and made certain that my reservation was accurate.

The street view is not impressive, but when you enter you realize the hotel is an oasis. Beautifully and carefully restored. All details are thoughtfully considered. We lounged in the pool during the day and in the evening we had a wonderful time chatting with the charming staff.

I would certainly return! Thank you for a quality experience!
