“Mexican breakfast with tortillas and cafe de olla!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

We were there on Sunday when they serve cafe de olla @ breakfast...this is a very traditional way to season a cup of coffee. Is very different...taste like cinnamon, cloves and sugar. I liked it.
We had Ranchero eggs and eggs in salsa verde with nopales. Very good...and comes with toasts, coffee, and juice. We spend like $22US for the two of us and we enjoyed the experience. Service was excellent!!

We liked the looks of this place and after checking out the menu we knew we had to eat there! It was all yummy: chilaquiles, enchiladas, molletes, fresh tortillas! Can't ask for a yummier breakfast

“The best treatment and the best food for a reasonable price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

It is really hard to pick a restaurant in the 5th ave. since they all look nice, so you end up reading all the menus they have outside, problem is, you get harassed by the waiters trying to get you to buy the lobster and steak plate; when we got to la vagabunda, the manager approached and we asked for a little space to read the menu, Gianni (the manager) smiled and stepped back, that is what made us have dinner there. They have such confidence that their food is the best in the 5th ave. that they don't need to trick the client into buy the most expensive dish in the menu, because everything is awesome. We liked it so much we came back and my boyfriend asked for the spaghetti bolognesa (again) but with more meatballs, seriously those meatballs are the best we have ever eat. The waiters, miguel and Bruce are the bests, and the manager Gianni shook our hands and treat us like celebrities. It is now our favorite restaurant in the world.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much we went along twice during our stay in PDC. Augusto, our waiter, was excellent and all other staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
