I Remembered this place being really good for seafood a couple years ago and was craving some pescado entero (whole fish) it was so delicious and fresh. You go next door and pick your fish and they weigh it and prepare it for you. We also had the camarones in mojo de ajo and a couple rounds of cuba libres. Our total was 500 pesos and was well worth every penny. If you like simple yet deliciously prepared fresh seafood do not miss out on el pirata. We told our bartender at our hotel (hotel las palapas) that we went there for dinner and he said that he knew the owner and that all the locals go there because they have such good food. I'm definitely going back at least one more time on this trip
