“Good time had by all”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

Hello from Nanaimo. My wife and I had taken our first tour with YucaTreks in February 2011 and had a very educational as well as fun trip to Chichen Itza. This last February we took along our oldest son who had never been to any place like Mexico before. We explained that we were going to Coba, and asked if he was interested in joining us. He did and had "The best day of the trip" that day. The tour of Coba was awesome, the swim in the cenote was refreshing, and the meal at the buffet was exceptional. He even tried to outdo our guide in adding hot sauce to his meal. (That may have been a mistake) The explanation of the "End" of the Mayan calender in 2012 was also enlightening. YucaTreks is the way to go! Best wishes, Harold Sigrid & Robert

“Chichen Itza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

We took this tour in March with Eder and Omar. They were great. Very knowledgable and entertaining. There were nine of us and they said the day was ours however they suggested we go to Chichen itza last because we were near to the spring solstice and might see some sights we wouldn't otherwise see. We picked up a hot prepared breakfast on the way which was delicious. We visited Valladolid, swam in the cenote and then had an amazing lunch at a little place in the middle of nowhere and then headed to Chich Itza. it was a very long day but thoroughly enjoyable thanks to Eder and Omar. One of the fellows on our tour was taking his third tour with Yuka Treks because he had enjoyed the others so much.

“The best experience!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

We had a wonderful trip to Coba Treasures with YucaTreks. Our party consisted of the two of us and another (family) party of three so it was a small, intimate group. A comfortable van, snacks and drinks and we were on our way. Eder is the most amazing guide - knowledgeable, so informative and interesting - and funny too! We learned so much on the way and then his guiding us through Coba really set him apart. Whether it was history of the Mayans, details of the structures or the flora and fauna, Eder related facts and stories in such an interesting fashion. It was great to be at a site where you could climb the pyramid and see the fabulous views. A visit to a cenote - amazing - and an authentic Mayan lunch and we were a very happy group. All in all, a wonderful day and when in Playa again, we would definitely choose YucaTreks for any touring land we generally don't do tours so this is a compliment indeed!

“Yuca Treks is the Only Wat to Go!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2012

My wife and I have been going on tours with Mitch sense 2005 and have always had a great time. Every trip you go on is well planned and excellent. This April we went on Sea to Cenote and the Coba Trip both trips had a small number of people on them and were loads of fun.

Yuca Treks does tours for people that don't like tours! No big buses, no huge crowds, you feel like you are with friends going on a day trip. If you want the best trips on the Yucatan contact Mitch at Yuca Treks!

Noel on the Sea to Cenote trip did a great job and we saw amazing fish and turtles. This was the best snorkeling trip we have been on. Don't miss this adventure!!

“A fabulous day!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2012

We did the 'Sea to Cenote' tour earlier this month with YucaTreks guide Noel.

Noel picked us up at our resort right on time and we had an outstanding day (even though it rained). We've traveled a fair bit in the Caribbean area, and this was one of the best excursions we've done. The cenote was an amazing experience, as was swimming with the sea turtles in Akumal. Lunch was included in the price and we ate at a resort facility in Akumal (very good). We then visited Yal-Ku Lagoon. This is a beautiful area with great snorkeling. By the time we were at the lagoon it was overcast and pouring rain, but we had a good time nonetheless. I can only imagine how beautiful the snorkeling would be if the sun was shining. I would like to do this tour again on our next trip to the PDC area, just to experience it in the sun.
