“STOP THIS AWFUL PRACTISE”
Reviewed 16 March 2012

Please please do not encourage the mistreatment of Lion cubs and Tiger cubs I was not only shocked to see them being used for tourist photo shots even though one poor little lion cub was obviously heavily drugged. I was even more shocked that people who appeared to be fairly well educated were relishing in the the idea of having their photo taken and actually paying to do so therefor encouraging the practise, to those people please research how these animals are obtained treated and their eventual treatment once they become too big to handle.

“Aggressive Sales Tactics”
Reviewed 12 March 2012

Don't stay in one store too long or else... watch-out when you get out... Every business store owner is after you to come buy in their store...then don't go towards the ferry landing, cause theres some aggressive TIME SHARE People who will promise you the world and won't leave you alone, until you feel like they own you! NOT A GOOD FEELING! NOT A RELAXING TIME...would not go back.

“Please DO NOT stop to take a picture!!!”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

There is a merchant who is offering you to take a picture with his baby lions and tiger... !!! It is my understanding from talking to people that these animals are drugged especially the bigger lion to keep it quiet!!! I was also told by an eco tour guide that they killed the mother to get to the cubs!!!! If you stop you are supporting/encouraging this type of behavior!!! Please keep on walking if no one stops and they make no money they will hopefully stop doing this...

“Tourist trap”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

Almost everyone we spoke to before going to PDC recommended visiting this area however we found it was generally made up of cheap souvenir shops ,pharmacies that sold prescription drugs (viagra) over the counter and cigar shops. You could not walk ten feet or attempt to browse in a shop without getting hassled by someone trying to sell you something you dont wan't. there was great variety of tequilas in some of the stores but they charged up to 10 or more dollars per more than you would pay at duty free. Fremont in Vegas or Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco are better street experiences.

“The first quarter like being in LA”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

The first stores you see is Rolex, Oakley, Nine West, real Mexico? Just keep on walking because the price is about 10% higher then home! And don't stop at Subway, it's not the same! As you get into the real stores, you know the small ones packed to the roof! Don't just buy everything you see it is a long walk and it gets cheaper as you go!
